I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to recognise the quality of service and honesty of the team at JTT.

I had a clutch issue with my car that another garage had charged 35 quid to Inspect (they just test drove it) and then quoted 922 quid for a full repair without ever telling me what the issue was.

My parents have used JTT for years so I sought a second opinion, and not only did they check my car without charging, they were adamant that whilst there was a bit of an issue with a clutch bearing if they were being critical, in no way would they recommend getting a full repair of it yet.

Cannot recommend them highly enough in comparisons to others out there.

Never was a paying customer due to the situation with the extent of the work needed on my car, but a very positive experience due to the honesty of the staff. Were open with their opinions on the work necessary, their past similar jobs and what they would choose if it was their own car: Honest, trustworthy, professional and straight to the point.

JTT are the true definition of a professional, honest, reliable, local & personal business with very high standards. I have used them for many years (for MOT's, servicing and other car issues) they are always on point and I trust them entirely. As just one example from a very long list...they were able to come to my house and replace my battery within just a few hours of me calling them.

Excellent service on multiple occasions and a very fair price. Staff are friendly, professional and always happy to take time to explain findings. When booking an urgent appointment for a flat tyre they didn't hesitate to fit me in, even though they were fully booked. I am very appreciative and wouldn't hesitate to recommend JTT!

I have used JTT for a number of years and they are the most honest and trustworthy mechanics I’ve used and I’ve tried a lot! They always call with any issues and give a parts and labour costs with a good explanation of the problem I recommend them highly nice guys as well 👍

JTT have become closer than family over the last few months!

I already knew them to be very good from dealing with them over last year or so for other work.

Though how they've stood by me through the saga below, is above and beyond.., & for no Financial Gain to themselves !! --

They turned, what was a nightmare scenario for me initially - (with my Insignia VXR- anyone that knows, will know),
into an educational experience, working with them, with their honesty & incredible patience.

- suspected 4x4 haldex system failure - causing rear axle failure
- crankshaft \ camshaft misalignment fault codes - causing limp mode - likely caused by timing chain stretch.
- air con clutch relay / compressor fail

all above happened at same time & has been sorted over last 2 weeks -
I'm still in shock as was v close to being the end for the VXR.

The very least I can do, is this, for them.

Recently had a Premium Service carried out here on my Audi TT. Have been using JTT for years and always receive a good service, with good prices for there car servicing. Always get the car back to me within a few hours. Would recommend!

I’ve used JTT for many years & have had nothing but good, reliable service from them. Their prices are on par or cheaper than other local garages & far cheaper than going to a main dealer. They will advise you when things like your brake pads are getting low but will tell you roughly how many miles you have left before you need to change them. I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my car, highly recommended

I have used this garage twice now. I only work in the area and live far away so not feasible to use them regularly. However, the service has been exceptional. Nothing is too much to do, the knowledge and experience of the staff is very clear and the repairs are always first class. I would use these guys all the time if I could and it will be a real shame when I move jobs soon not to be able to use them anymore. Absolute pleasure to deal with and highly recommended.

I have used JTT for MOT, servicing and repairs for my previous and current car. They are a freindly team and it is easy to book appointments and talk about your car with them. I have found them to be very honest and sympathetic too. They are the best garage I have had experience with and I therefore highly recommend them.

Unlike some of these people, I haven been able to use JTT for long but they always do right be me. Ive had quite a bit of work done on my car since purchasing it in 2019. Theyre always friendly when I call to book an appointment. The work is top class. Theyre always transparent with cost which really is nice for a student on a fixed incomeMy 2006 car feels 5-8 years younger since getting the tune up last spring. Can't recommend this shop enough. Best garage in Potters Bar.

Really impressed with this garage. Car had been making a loud disturbing noise for the past few months, took it here and they had fixed it within 3 hours which I think is so quick. Also the 10% student discount is amazing will definitely come here in future for my car needs, thank you guys!

After looking for a garage that could look after me and my car and a business I could trust after using several who were not as honest as I hoped. JTT was mentioned to me by a student at the college I work at, so I called them and arranged to have work done.
The service I received was absolutely superb; the staff were professional and polite and kept me informed of all works done and any possible works that may be needed in the future. They kept my bill as low as possible without compromising safety or the standard of parts.
I have now used JTT on several occasions now and would rate them 5 out of 5 every time. I have suggested using the garage to my students as they also provide not only a first class service but they look after the students with advice and care of the car, meaning I now have to push less of the road.
Highly recommend this garage to anyone wanting a reliable and trust worthy service.

I've been using JTT for several years over a number of different vehicles and have always been more than happy wit the service. Unlike some garages they will be upfront and tell you if they are not sure about a vehicle if it is a bit specialist but they have always managed to sort and problems quickly and with senesible costs too. I've used many garages over the years and thse guys are about the best I have used.

Came here after recommendations from university colleagues for some electrical issues. From the get go so caring, sympathetic and non-judgemental. Really got the impression they wanted to do the best job for the least money. And to top it off when I came to collect they'd cleaned the car inside and out! Will definitely be recommending this place to anyone who'll listen.

Took my car for an MOT, given the option if I need it done quickly, I didn't, but its nice to have the option rather than some garages attitude of its done when its done. Will definitely be using them for my MOT and services in the future.

Very happy customer. My car broke down and I thought it would have to be scrapped. They picked it up, talked me through everything that was wrong, quoted a decent price and when I picked it up they showed me the damaged part and explained what they had done. Friendly service. Would use again if I ever had to.
