Fantastic, friendly customer service and quality meats. Their locally-sourced, aged beef tenderloin was gorgeous!

Drove for over an hour on a recommendation. Steak, pork and sausages went home with me. Porterhouse melts in your mouth!

My oh my! What a place 👏🏻 Helpful, friendly, full of knowledge and will go the extra mile!

My favourites so far have been the hand made pork pies, the fresh properly hung beef it is to absolutely die for, the tomato sausage is proper tasty and freshly made on the premises daily 🐖 and YES! It's British bacon 🇬🇧 (and they have a choice of Danish too) and is much better than the cardboard we all get used to elsewhere and I've also spotted a few tasties I'll be back for (the rabbit, the duck eggs, good selection of cheese and them lichfield sausages looked good) and after tea tonight I'll be in for one of there bbq packs when it warms up 😁

Being an absolute hippy I'm always concerned about food miles and wherever possible it's locally sourced (lamb is from leek) and trying to keep out the big supermarkets I was blown away the name above the door is the guy in the shop 👏🏻

Excellent butchers. They sell salt marsh lamb which is the best lamb that you could wish for. The price is very reasonable as well. I line with, or below supermarket prices. All the meat is excellent.
If you want the lamb phone in advance as they only have a shipment every two weeks and it sells very fast.

Best butchers in Lichfield by a mile. Friendly and helpful staff and unbelievable selection to top quality meat. Shall go here now instead of a supermarket.

Sausages r ok but very much overpriced at around £3.70 per lb, especially as they r only 65% meat

Must admit I'd walked past this butchers many a time when going to greengrocers nearby. I popped in a few weeks ago and assume I was served by the proprietor. Very professional and knowledgeable. I bought a large steak for the bbq . Very good quality. Will definitely go back and if consistent experience will increase my rating.

Very poor customer experience. I purchased two lovely looking gammon steaks for just over £13, they were big. I specifically asked if these needed to be soaked before cooking. I was no NO, they're Danish and won't be at all salty... RUBBISH!! They were so salty we could not eat them. When I went back to the butchers I was made to feel like a liar, I was told that they are never salty... I called my wife into the shop where she explained how bad they were, again this was met with disbelief, "we've sold this for 60 years and it's never salty". I had NO apology, no offer of any sort of compensation and was sent away still feeling like a liar!!
WELL KR EVANS. YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER, YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO KEEP THEM WITH THE ATTITUDE YOU DISPLAYED TO ME!!
