Smiths TV

I have had my new LG Oled TV I bought from Smiths TV, 5 days now it is really good with realistic picture, good sound quality. The engineers Tom and Mike who delivered and installed the TV were both genuinely friendly, would highly recommend.

Got to support these guys. I am as guilty as the next person but today bought a hotpoint washer cheaper than hotpoint advertises it and the whole shebang of getting old one out, new in and installed just 50 quid. The only down is the fact that delivery is at least 10 to 14 days which in todays world is a bit behind times. However we can cope and I feel good to support local businesses. Hopefully SMITHS will amaze me with the delivery etc..
Update: After initial order on 6th October I finally got my washer on 1st November nearly a month of waiting. That's way too long but I appreciate it is a niche washer (half size top loader in view of lack of space). However I could have had it a lot quicker online....
A few points.. . I had to call a couple of times in between and was assured that the 'moment it is in, you will get a call'. Well, no actually. I rang on 27th October and the guy said 'we would have called you if it was in but let me check' Upon checking and to his credit he didn't make excuses about the fact that it was in but no one had told him. As this was later in afternoon I could only get a Wednesday pm.
I called again asking for as early as possible to 12 and the deliverer was there at 12 so that was terrific. I had told the store it was a 2d floor flat without lift but the delivery guy was on his own as no one had told him. He did it all though but it was tough on him and was fantastic and still cheerful so top marks to Alastair (his name).
For me in future I will check first with SmithsTV if they have stock. If they do, they will have my custom. If not, I fear the Internet will be my best bet as 25 or so days without a washer were tough.

Have bought a number of items from Smith's over the last 18 months and can only describe their customer service as spot on.
They will match Comet price but the difference is a personalised service. Any issues they come round and sort them.
Support your local shops and buy fro Smith's.

A fantastic local shop, with helpful staff who’ll direct you to what you need/want, rather than what they “want” to sell. Loads of helpful advice with no rush to make a decision. Another smaller independent I’d recommend over and above any of the big chains or online stores.

I won't buy an electrical item off anyone else, the staff are incredibly helpful and there products are fantastic quality and competitively priced.
