Kite Hill Yurts

Another lovely trip to Kite Hill Yurts. Lisa and Jerry were once again very accommodating. Such a lovely place to be and everything we needed for our family holiday. Our 5 year old loved seeing the sheep and chickens, we watched out for kites flying overhead (we saw one) and we even saw the hare every day we were there. Due to the weather we had the wood burner lit every evening and it was more than warm enough. Look forward to visiting again.

Very enjoyable and relaxing. Strange, but nice to be away from Technology for a change.
Drive up is not for the faint hearted (Steep narrow winding roads and track in parts), but well worth the trip.
Lisa and Jerry are very accommodating, which is one of the reasons for repeat visits.

Idyllic yurts in an idyllic location - absolutely wonderful. The yurts are large spacious, and with the log burners lit, incredibly cosy. Next to each yurt is a well equipped kitchen for eating in and coming, and you can also eat on the picnic benches by each yurt. There's also a cabin that has running water for washing up, fridges and an electric shower.

We had a fantastic time here helped by a very warm and friendly welcome by the owners, highly recommended to anyone.

These Yurts are amazing, we stayed here when the weather turned overnight. They are so well insulated we couldn't here the wind at all. Very homely and cosy, great for an adventure!

Stunning setting, very remote. Perfect location
