MSK Osteopath Wigston

I have been a patient for many years and have received treatment at his clinics in Wigston and Scraptoft. I have received a variety of treatments to help with neck pain, back pain and chronic headaches over the years. Acupuncture has really helped me the most, relieving the pain when other treatments were having no effect. The appointments always run to time and he been accommodating when I have needed to change the time and location of appointments to fit in with my work commitments, or to fit me in when I have been really struggling. He is friendly, approachable, trustworthy and first class professional who really knows his stuff. I feel the monthly appointment to keep on top of my issues is worth the money as I can then continue to live my life pain free.

Both myself and my mum have had acupuncture treatment this year for siactica pain with mum now just having preventative treatment. I arrived barely being able to walk or sit and came out after 1 treatment being able to do both again. His main goal is to get you pain free. He is extremely caring and friendly but always professional. My mum is 81 and he has shown her nothing but the most upmost respect after having a stroke and not being as quick as she used to be. He has always been extremely quick to return calls or emails. I literally cannot recommend Avin highly enough.

We first visited Avin when our baby was 7 weeks old, as he’d been struggling with potential colic and seemed in pain to get any wind/gas out. We’ve had 3 sessions and the difference it’s made is amazing! Avin was so professional, informative and made us all feel comfortable, especially our baby. After having terrible neck pain for almost a year that was progressively getting worse I went to see Avin and what he did in just a few sessions is nothing short of a miracle. I had really low expectations and didn’t believe that the treatment would do much for me but I was completely wrong. After the first session I felt instantly relieved of the pain and so much lighter and when I went back a week later I was able to say that my neck was 80% better. I had just 4 sessions in total over 5 weeks and other than a few niggles (I have Fibromyalgia so I’ll never be totally pain free) I can honestly say that I no longer have an issue with chronic neck pain. Other than that, I found Avin to be a really friendly, trustworthy, no-nonsense guy which I really appreciated and it was always super easy to get an appointment.

I just wanted to give my honest feedback for my mum’s sciatica pain.

She couldn’t put weight on her leg and after numerous doctor appointments, pain killers, and physiotherapists she still struggled a lot.

After doing some research, I looked at osteopathy and decided to speak to Avin.

My mum was abit reluctant trying a different approach but she eventually went. And then asked me to keep booking more sessions! This showed that it was making a difference to her.

A really professional service, I would recommend anyone with back problems to try this treatment . I had acupuncture and manipulation and my pain has completely gone, my walking and posture improved. Avin is knowledgeable and very professional and was quickly able to pinpoint my problems .

I have some arthritic restriction of movement in both my shoulders. This dates back over many years from working in the metal roofing industry.
I have had the injections, acupunture and used a chiropractor in past.
I contacted Avin a couple of months ago when my neck locked playing golf. Avin couldn't have been more helpful he sorted out an appointment for the following day ,with a follow up two days latter. That sorted out my problem.
I had another pain in my arm with the change in the weather this week .I rang Avin who arranged to see me within a couple hours. He also came in early for his surgery to fit me in the following day .
The service and skill he offers is excellent .I would recommend Avin to any one with nagging muscle injurys.

Before going to see Avin I was in excruciating pain with a trapped nerve, after seven sessions I am now pain free, he gave me help and hope at a time where the doctors did not, he even saw me at times I had no appointment but the pain was too much for me to bear, even though it wasn't a good time for him and I will be forever grateful for that. Wow fantastic service, I had only two sections with Avin and it's 100% left me pain free. I have three prolapsed neck discs which in turn trapped the C6 and C7 nerve which travelled from neck to fingers....the pain was horrendous and massively affected 8 months of my life....Avin cured it in days....he genuinely performed a miracle on myself and others I know he has treated. Will definatly use Avin again if needed. Thank you Avin.xx
