Nantwich Health Centre

One of the best health centres I’ve ever experienced. All of the staff are amazing, compassionate, kind. The new phone system works brilliantly, too. Feel very lucky to have this locally.

Had an antenatal appointment with the midwife Jenifer on Monday, left the appointment feeling really confident and happy with the service. After having numerous midwives through my pregnancy I wish I’d of had her all along! She left a great impact.

Having been a patient of this practice for many years, I have nothing but praise for the team. It can be difficult and frustrating to book an appointment at times, however I am sure that is the same for all of us. Special mention for Dr Percival who is so thorough and professional. I have never been fobbed off, she takes time to listen and understand before considering various options and agreeing a course of action. In my option an exceptional GP.

Following an annual blood test I contacted the surgery for results and a review by a practice nurse. A telephone appointment with a nurse was arranged within the hour (this was during Covid lock-down). During this telephone review the nurse decided it was best that I visited the surgery and an appointment was offered for the following morning. The appointment was exactly on time and the nurse was extremely thorough providing very detailed advice. First class service.

Full credit to all the reception staff & GP’s at Nantwich Health Centre, they have been so accommodating with appointments for my son, never feel rushed or bothersome. Dr Guiriani in particular is amazing!

Well equipped practise, friendly efficient staff who do try to accommodate your requests for appointments. Usually manage to get an appointment when necessary, but only after trying self care with over counter meds from a pharmacist. Always had a positive experience with the GPs at this practise.

We always get amazing service and treatment from Nantwich health centre! We have 2 young boys and everyone is always so friendly and caring every time we need them. Today was even more special though. I took my 3 year old for his MMR and pre school boosters... 4 weeks after he screamed the practice down having his flu spray! Sam on reception was amazing as always and made a fuss of little Tom. Michelle was great 4 weeks ago with the flu spray... but Tom was a little apprehensive today, knowing what was coming! After a bit of kicking and screaming and a little help from another nurse we got the injections done and he’s absolutely fine! Thank you all again!

I agree with the other reviewers that the enquiry phone line is useless. However, the actual health centre is well equipped and staff is really friendly. Beware: despite the times shown here it seems the health centre is closed Saturdays and Sundays. Do check before heading there on a weekend.

Dr Barrow is a great doctor, couldn't fault her or her work. Thank you for everything.

Went to Tudor, very fast and efficient

Very friendly staff trying their best in these unusual times. Im a student and had to register with a gp for the 1st time in Nantwich. Whole process was easy got a call for a medical in about 5 days and booked for an appointment in 2 weeks. Best out of all the practices in the building

Jane on the front desk was incredibly helpful, polite and kind

The Google maps take you down market street to find car park... there is no way I'm that way... you instead have to turn in by the new marks and spencers building to get to the car park ... very confusing but I can't seem to report it to Google maps

The only reason I give it 3 stars is because of the difficulty of getting through on the phone between 8.30am and 10am . Its virtually impossible although it could be argued that someone must be getting through as the time slots for the doctors are all occupied. I have a speed dial on my mobile that digitally keeps calling back automatically so i eventually get through but poor elderly people who have to keep redialling themselves must be very frustrated and may give up and potentially leave themselves in a dangerous position . Apart from this the surgery is great, the staff are very friendly and professional and 90% of the doctors are wonderful especially Dr Percival and Dr McLeod (if that is how you spell it).
