Lower Fishpools Lodges

Stayed with my family and 2 boisterous collies. All had a superb and relaxing time. The lodge was beyond my expectations, well equipped and comfortable in every way! The beautiful wandering trails right on the doorstep are a tonic to the soul. It was without doubt the best break I've had for a long time and will definitely be back!

Loved our second stay, even if the kids came with us. Lots of fresh air, walks and hot tub is wonderful. Lovely Lodges, nice touches for the dog too. Very well equipped lodge.
Good meals out at lamb and Flag Rhayader and horse and jockey at Knighton, both good food and dog friendly. Lovely walks at Elan Valley too.

Excellent place to unwind, every thing you need, washer, dishwasher, washer, dryer, hot tub , ensuite bathroom, shower bath.... Flies can be a nuisance so bring spray... Beds super comfy..... Jenny is a lovely lady.

Lovely quiet peaceful place perfect for a relaxing break.it is a way away from shops etc so you do need transport.the hot tub is great especially cos it's under cover so can be used whatever the weather. The surrounding area is beautiful.

Lovely lodge. Very quiet and quite remote but it was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. Gorgeous walks on the doorstep and the waterfall is worth a visit.
Lodge was well equipped and a nice touch from the owner to leave milk,coffee ect..
Great that the gardens are fenced off separately and hot tub was an added bonus. We were fortunate to have hot weather which was good as the dogs got the full use of the garden. If you are looking for peace and quiet and enjoy walking then i recommend.

Lovely as ever, first time we have been back since its had a refresh, and it great, can't fault Jenny or the lodges. It's the 4th time we have been over the last 10 years, and I doubt this will be our last. The kids love the place aswell, it's so peaceful, surrounded by open fields, hills and woodland its great for relaxing or going for nice long walks. The hottub with amazing views helps

Visited may 2019, facilities provided are excellent and very clean. We took our pooches whom loved it there is a fenced area around the lodge for the Garden. There is a lovely walk around a wooded area just next to the lodge. Jacuzzi was very good and clean. Downside/upside no phone signal at all for most, partners EE phone worked but very slow connection, places were mentioned in the trip diary could have done with having some books on local attractions and how to get there as we struggled to organise things like found out castles were closed on certain days upon arrival. I would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone.

Unbelievable spot. So peaceful. Lodge is secluded and has amazing views. Only one lodge has a sunken hot tub though. The other is above ground.
Facilities are perfect and we wanted for nothing. Plenty of sheep on the doorstep and a nice log burner too. Loads of DVD's to watch and a great nights sleep. 👌🏻

Absolutely stunning Lodge and views to go with it. The hot tub is an amazing treat. It was self catering so we took everything we needed. The bed was very comfy. We loved the log burner too.

Everything about the place is fantastic, didnt need to take half the stuff I did as so much was provided. Place was spotless and the hot tub was just perfect, I honestly can't recommend this place enough and will be back.

Perfect for a relaxing, getaway from it all break, Stunning views, amazing surroundings and the lodge is very private and spotlessly clean. Our favourite place to visit 💕
