Stumbled across this woodland by chance and what a gem! Stunning. Walked all 3 routes in a few hours and left satisfied not knackered and tired.

Questionable use of the adjective ‘strenuous’ for the blue one but I won’t mention that. All 3 are relatively easy.

Zero facilities just a dirty car park, map board and clearly sign posted routes. Fantastic.

Tempted to take my mountain bike next time….discuss ;-)

Went for a walk here a couple days ago and was very disappointed by how neglected the area was. I understand that weather is uncontrollable but the level of neglect was upsetting. It used to be such a beautiful place to sit and now there's no easy path down to the falls at all. The children tried moving all the dead wood and plants that had washed into the waters pathway. On our last visit it was all fenced off as they were doing work to make it safe to visit.

There's no way to come anywhere closer to the waterfall itself as there's fence there with a sign stating that this attraction is closed already. But you can see it from the surrounding trail. Be careful - very steep slopes !

The waterfall is very close to the car park, so not a long walk. The unmade road to access the car park is a bit bumpy but not awful. The last part of the path to the waterfall is a little narrow, but manageable.

Amazing place for a walk. Pathways are clear and it looks very safe.

Absolutely beautiful place with the awesome waterfall. The car park is up a gravel path, takes a bit of time to go up the path as you have to drive slowly but you get some nice views of the valley. The car park is descent size and we went at a very quiet time so no issues parking.

There are 3 walks. We did 2 of them. One going up to the top of the waterfall. There are some steep parts but nothing my 3 year old couldn't handle. You can hear the water but couldn't see it for a long time so it was quite satisfying when you finally got to the top (although it's not quite the start).

The second walk we did was going down to the actual waterfall. This walk is very easy with interesting bits along the way. And finally when we got to the waterfall we were blown away! The waterfall is beautiful and quite a big waterfall. We went in the summer but there was plenty of water. Lovely place to get your feet wet and go up the waterfall if you feel adventurous!

All in all we spent about 4 hours, relaxing and really taking in all the natural beauty of the place.

Although the waterfall trail was closed, the water-break-its-neck trail was beautiful overlooking the waterfall. The green walking trail was equally stunning

Absolutely beautiful place, there have been fences up for a year now, stopping people from walking to the base if the falls. Hope the path is re made and all forestry operations finish soon.

Went the day after a hurricane so the water flow was very impressive and made for some great photos. As others have said, take the easy red path and you get to the falls easily in about 10 minutes.

Parking was a bit difficult. Be prepared for a full car park and a challenging u turn if it's busy.

Remember to take wellies if it's been raining so you can play about in the water. After seeing the kids playing about I was a bit jealous 😊

Great place for either Dog Walking or just Walking . Actual path to falls is still closed due to safety issues with trees alongside path . 2 walks available , 1 easy and 1 hard , or carry on walking on main track past the rows of logs .

A beautiful, gentle waterfall. When we were there that is. It hadn't been raining recently, so we expected a trickle, but it was just gorgeous. There is a gentle walk down to it from the car park. There are amazing moss covered trees on the way and there are a number of different walks to do around there.

Water Break-It's-Neck is a fantastic place to visit.

The short walk from the car park to the waterfall is so enchanting. There hadn't been much rain in the days before our visit so the water flow was pretty minimal but that didn't detract from an amazingly peaceful and rewarding experience.

Lovely place, easy walk to see the waterfalls. Longer and more strenuous walking routes there too. Free parking too.

Gorgeous location, very bumpy road leading up to the little car park, short walk to the waterfall, but lovely scenery... recommended ... does not take long and well worth it.

Golly gosh! Mother nature sure does give us some hidden gems, doesn't she! Breathtaking views😍 and a great walk for all the family. The last time I remember seeing snow was in the winter of 1989, but mother nature provided and shocked again❄!! Although we got a little bit soggy we enjoyed every last bit of it!

A nice and peaceful waterfall. The stream wasn't very powerfull in summer so the falls might be more spectacular in autumn, winter and spring, but I still really liked it.
Also reminded me of the Lord of the Ring movies !

Fantastic place. Best after or during heavy rain. Last August, it was completely dry, but still lovely walks around the woods.

Well signposted walking routes from car park, including to the waterfall itself - although don’t expect much flow in high summer when it hasn’t rained in a while. However, it was still fun to walk along the river bed, and it was a nice easy shaded walk.
There is a small drinks stand at the bottom of the hill (on the way into the car park) which is open on its own schedule and sells drinks and ice-creams, but no facilities otherwise.

Stunning waterfall in beautiful surroundings. Also quite accessible with a shortish walk, though not for wheelchairs or those of limited mobility. Definitely worth a visit.
