Family meal out with eight adults and two young children. Service and food excellent with nice relaxed atmosphere and something for everyone. Child menu also.

Wasn't sure what to expect here but I have to say everything was absolutely spot on. The food was delicious, good selection of drinks and the staff were brilliant. Would highly recommend this place if you're in the area 👌

Took lunch here after a friend’s recommendation. I did look at some reviews before I visited and some of the bad reviews were comical. My visit was mid December so there were very few people in, hence the low score for atmosphere, but the service was great, as was the food, which, at £12.50 per person, was good value. I was expecting to pay for my food on ordering as so many reviews said was the case but this was not my experience- maybe it’s something that happens in the peak summer months. The bar is pleasant and the toilets are modern and clean. Very happy with my sausages and mash, and Mrs D had a very generous cheese ploughman’s.

Amazing food!! Young lad that waited us was polite, professional and made our evening a delight. Price of food was just right, portion sizes were very good and the kiddies enjoyed there food and the entertainment area . Will definitely be going back and hopefully do a quiz night that was recommended.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch at the Fort Inn today. It is great to see this place up and running so well with newish managers. The food was great, the staff very polite, efficient and friendly. We had the vegan roast which was one to dream of tonight!

Amazing service. The ladies at front of house were very friendly and helpful. Always smiling and chatting to their customers. Kitchen out on carvery were great. Had a lot of patience for my girls who couldn't decided on what meat they wanted. The small plate for carvery is actually big enough for adults and under fives eat for free which is amazing. The restaurant looks great too. Will be coming back during week for the normal menu as it looks great.

We love it there. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of them were delicious and always someone new to try on the menu.The food comes out well plated and at a great size. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help when needed. The bar and restaurant always had great atmosphere in prime hours and is very warming to sit in. We have also taken part in the quiz and bingo which has a good turn out. Even the kids dinners and lunches are great and our little ones loved them. Highly recommended. Looking forward to our next visit…. Which will be soon I assure you. Well done guys !

The food here was lovely, huge portion of chips though. But delicious 🤭
They even made Gluten free batter for my fish. Couldn't do enough for us, very hospitable. Would come back again.

The Christmas fayre was good! Expected a a little more, but as it was raining I guess everything was crammed inside. Had a wonder around with doggo(Meg), stopped to have some lunch, witch is always amazing there.

After a couple drinks took a drive back to Plymouth to relax in front of the TV with a couple of beers and a full belly!

We popped in for a quiet drink after shopping. It was really pleasant. We were made very welcome by the staff. Xmas decorations going up and looking terrific.

My family and I are regularly goers to the swimming pool and restaurant. Both are a great experience, welcoming, spotless and the Sunday roast are just sensational. I’ve taken family and friends along to the restaurant and it always gets great reviews.

Brilliant food and reasonable prices. Staff were always very welcoming (visited twice during our trip) and made our dog feel at home! We heard that the place is now under new management, so bear this in mind if you read bad reviews that are from some time ago! P.S. Sunday carvery was amazing!

Camping here as everywhere else closed or full. Definitely come again. Incredible views from our tent, calm, peaceful. Food good value and excellent.
