The Bay Bar & Restaurant

We visited here a couple of times for drinks and one evening for food. The location is amazing, right on the beach front and they will serve drinks in cups you can safely take into the beach. There's also tables outside with fantastic views of the bay and inside is light and airy.
The food was fantastic and we all had a selection of different dishes which were all served perfectly.
The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help us.
Would 100% recommend it.

Food was absolutely fantastic, which is matched by the wonderful friendly service. It was a quiet day which suited us as we took our 18month old GSD rescue for her first indoor pub/restaurant visit along with our 11year old lab. We phoned ahead and the staff were only to helpful to sit us in an appropriate area.
Definitely recommend, and will definitely be back in the near future.

Food beer and a view, what more do you want. Beer kept well, but this is not a Cornish pub, it is a bar.

Loved it here. Great modern bar and restaurant right on the sea front. Location is fantastic, service is friendly and professional but not fast so if you are in a rush make sure they know. Great Cornish beers on tap. Food is brilliant and the fish specials change each day. Would recommend and reservations are essential as it gets very busy.

Booked a table here for my birthday whilst staying in Kingsand. Very friendly staff and very welcoming. Lovely and spacious inside and a beautiful seating area outside overlooking the bay. Food was really nice, 2 of my family members ordered the muscles, the waiter on shift that evening (after speaking with the chefs) let us know the dishes wouldn't be full portions as selling out so discounted the meal accordingly which was great customer service.

Overall a great place to eat, children and dogs very welcome, lovely friendly staff and set in a beautiful location. Would highly recommend.

We had a delicious evening meal in February. There were a few spare tables when we arrived but I would encourage you to book in advance.
The staff were excellent; nice to chat with.
Food arrived quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Keep in mind that this is also bar, which can affect the atmosphere.

We were lucky enough to get a table outside without a reservation. Amazing views and absolutely fantastic food at great prices. The staff were always available to help and the customer service was on point. Food is served from 5pm and the restrraunt is often fully booked but will accept walk in if they are able. Free parking available round the corner. Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other dishes.

Pretty much the only place to sit and enjoy the view of Cawsands, so it was a huge plus that the food was lovely too! I had the Mussels, which were very flavourful! We will definitely come back when we’re in the area as there’s lots of yummy sounding food on the menu to try next time.

Popped in twice during our 3 day stay in Kingsand/Cawsand. Lovely place right on the seafront. Wide variety of really nice food and drink. Dog friendly. Our two dogs, Duke, an English Pointer and Winnie, a mini Daschund were made most welcome and really fussed over. Fed doggy treats as well. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and they make The Bay Bar the happy, friendly place it is.

Gorgeous little place by the sea. Staff are super helpful and friendly. One of the most dog friendly places I've been too. Towels, blankets, water and treats all for dogs. Good prices also

Always wanted to visit this little gem in Cawsand and it was worth the wait.
Great atmosphere with a contemporary vibe and excellent knowledgeable staff with a great sense of humour made it an enjoyable experience.
The food was amazing and we all loved every mouthful!

Overall great restaurant. Location is great, by the sea, it has its own car park and it’s also only a short walk from the main town carpark. Service is fast and staff are great. Also the food is amazing, with options for everyone.

Amazing staff, we came in from a hike a sea swim and the staff offered up blankets and hot water bottles to warm up. They were very friendly. And they know how to pour a Guinness, definitely recommend!!
