Wonderful waterfall. Access not easy but OK for the sure footed. As always with waterfalls try to visit after period of heavy rainfall.

Really nice waterfall seems kept secret from most. Park in Stainforth, Google tries to get you to access from elsewhere entrance to path are co-ordinates (54.1020714, -2.2723886), then follow until sign to the left for falls.
It is up a rather steep hill that can be tiring but only about 30-40 mins to the waterfall. We went in the snow and snowdrifts meant the final part of the path had waist high snow! Otherwise it is totally fine to take your dog and no styles etc just paths and gates. It seems you could have cool views from the top of the falls but deep snow and uncertain ground meant it was unsafe to explore.

Steep climb but it’s a clear path and relatively well maintained. It takes around about hour to go up and look at it from the main car park, perfect for walking off a Sunday roast

A hidden gem, easy enough to find but a very steep uphill walk for a mile. Stunning views and a tranquil setting make it all worth while. Not far from the more popular and rambunctious Stainforth Force. Complete this one first, down to Stainforth then onto the Knights table cafe for a gorgeous lunch👍

Really beautiful waterfall, the path down to it from the bridleway was a bit frosty and slippery, but I'm nimble so didn't struggle much. There's another path with steps, where you can see a different view of the foss. Well worth a walk to visit!

High falls. Easy access. I actually approached from the North. A minor road with parking for one or two cars. Access via a quality track and over a few gates. Chatted to locals who said that walking in from main car park is a beautiful scenic walk in.

Beautiful spot and thankfully not so close to the road that it’s easily ruined by those that have no respect. A steep walk up to it from the village but well worth it. We got some swimming in and couldn’t have had a nicer time. Most certainly worth the effort of getting there and probably the best publicly accessible falls in the area in my opinion.

It's quite an arduous 2km walk up Stainforth Scar along Goat Lane to reach the two fosses at Catrigg; this seems to have deterred some tourists since we saw just two folks during our visit. One foss is approached through a copse, the other by following sheep tracks a short way. Both drops face each other so presumably a swallowhole separates them. If you enjoy fosses, Catrigg will make you happy.

Fantastic spot for swim, much quieter than nearby Stainforth Force. Deep + cold!

Easy walk from the parking to the falls, well posted and a joy to see. Spent a long time just sitting watching the water.

Easy hike, not to much of a steep climb. Nice little ice cream shop at the bottom for when you get down.
