Thai At Ellesmere (Formerly Thai Gate)

This is the best restaurant for Thai food in the north of England . The food is fresh and perfectly prepared and the service and price are excellent. I would 100 per cent recommend this restaurant. It’s full every night so it shows you how good it is . 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We have had food here both takeaway and dine in. Both of which had absolutely incredible food. the restaurant is decorated beautifully, and is staffed by absolutely lovely people who are very kind and attentive. I spoke to the owner (who somehow managed both cooking and taking care of the front of house amazingly!!) and she was so so lovely. If you're in Ellesmere, you MUST eat from this restaurant, it's incredible!

Absolutely amazing! All ordered very different things and both of the mixed starters. The tempura veg stayed so crispy, even as a takeaway, prawn toast was proper prawn toast. Jungle curry was so great - hot and spicy. Sweet beef was excellent and the meat was v good quality. Such genuinely good food and can't wait to go again.

Have eaten here and during recently had numerous carry outs. The food has always been excellent. The spicy dishes are actually hot and not tamed down. Well worth the price.

First visit. Ordered a takeaway online and it was ready when I collected it. I have travelled to Bangkok and eaten at lovely Thai restaurants there and in Manchester. The takeaway was absokutely delicious.

excellent service..The portions aren't big but they are ample, And the food tastes beautiful I would definitely eat there again or have a takeaway and highly recommend.

We ate here last week. The food was all very nice and the staff were wonderfully accomodating for our baby, offering a high chair without being asked. We would happily eat here again

Delicious takeaway from the Thai Gate tonight. We ordered on the website in advance, and the food was ready when went to pick it. The food was really tasty. We will certainly be ordering food from here again.

Querky building, fabulous food. Starters of crispy prawns in spring roll pastry, women in love, with sweet chilli sauce and thai dumplings. Then, Sea bass thai style, chiang mai pork belly and sticky rice, masselman chicken curry, all excellent, authentic Thai tastes.

Great Thai Restaurant, been multiple times while under the new management. It's great. The place is now called Nour Nour. Food is amazing.
