Came for a family meal as they always offered value for money and decent food.
Our last visit was nothing less than amazing, mainly because our server Remy went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed before we'd even asked for it. Thanks to him and his colleagues for a great visit 💜

The meals we had were excellent We chose the Ultimate Grill, The Triple rotisserie Combo and The Sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce and a half rack of ribs, we also visited the salad bar there was plenty of choice. The desserts were also excellent. I thought it was great value for money and we will certainly be visiting again.

Visit yesterday Thursday evening 6pm wanted the Bird surf & turf or the fish & chips but due to the fish fryer broken down not fish items were available so had the ultimate Grill which was fantastic apart from steak which was very thick ,over 2 inches and chewy & the not so green peas were cold and hard but the rest of the meal was fine .my advice with very thick steaks is to butterfly it or order in thinner steaks but all in all great service but my dog thanks you for the bit of steak I brought home . Hopefully next time I visit every thing will be available

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Super busy at the Harvester this evening. Our waitress Debbie was friendly and helpful. Harry who served us our food, drinks and pudding was also very helpful. Credit to the staff here. Food came quickly and was delicious. Thank you so much ☺

This review is for the excellent member of staff you have, Naomi. She worked her socks off in a very busy restaurant and provided great service. Food was typical harvester menu, you know what you are going to get and is reasonable value for money, especially when you apply discounts available via the app.

Food was very good but a choice of batter or bread crumbs regarding the Haddock would be good. The food was hot unlike one Saturday evening we were served 'tepid' food. The waitress was lovely and very polite and helpful, Lidya is written on the 'give us a review card, so I'm guessing that is the name of the waitress who served us.

Always. I'm a little stop-off place for a evening meal if we've travelled anywhere up. Couldn't read during the day. Nice little place. Good prices. Friendly family atmosphere. Good parking

Great pub for food and service.
Lydia served our table who was extremely polite and professional. Had a lovely friendly approachable personality. The food was delicious and delivered promptly and enjoyed the whole dining experience. Will certainly come back. Thank you so much for your professional service Lydia.

Had a fab meal this evening. Lovely spot by the window. Our waitress Debbie was so lovely and attentive. She made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend

Debbie was incredible friendly and smiley!! Food was lush, salad bar kept being topped up and the vegan burger was lush. There were some noisy kids but that couldn't be helped.

I’ve been here a few times and have always been pleased with the service we receive. The staff who work here are all helpful and polite. Salad bar is always topped up nicely and food has always been quick.

We were served by Naomi and wow what a wonderful young lady. She was knowledgeable about the menu, was chatty and polite throughout our meal, and was just amazing. An asset to the team!

The food was of great quality and really delicious and was delivered to our tables in a speedy way.
The service by the staff was fabulous, Debbie our waitress was incredible with a warm and welcoming personality who tried and succeeded in making our visit memorable.

Amazing service! Had a lad who was in training and I can say how well he's doing! I didn't catch his name but absolute credit to the company! Food was out fast and hot. Perfect place for a family meal even on a Friday!

Great meal out and were able to use a 20% discount code. Debbie was a great server and made sure we were looked after. The restaurant itself was very Smokey and we left quite smelly.

The staff are so friendly and very very polite,the food is magnificent I had haddock the flavour was so so good my husband had mix grill and he said it was the best one he has had ,everything cooked from fresh ,if I could give my stars I would and we going back again, thank you so much really enjoyed it.

Visited the Griffin on Wednesday with a friend and mum, we was served by Vicky and her service was amazing, looked after us and so polite, she definitely goes the extra mile. We was lucky to have her serve us today as I was going to leave a review last time and never got round to it, so made sure to do so this time. Always smiling and polite and looks to take pride in her job, thank you Vicky and the Griffin we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and wills ee you again soon!!
