I was very late arriving 10.20pm and was greated by a very helpful member of staff, the pub was very busy and had a good friendly feel to it. My room and ensuite is very clean with tea & coffee available and overall great value for money. It's located about 15mins from the city centre with ample parking and I would be happy to stay here again.

Cleans rooms at an affordable price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free On site parking at the rear for residents. Traditional pub offering a wide selection of wines, beers and spirits.

No breakfast is served here but large selection of local restaurants available offering good food at a good price.

I booked late for a friend's 60th near by. I was relieved to get somewhere local to stay as I thought I'd left it too late. The rooms a basic but have everything you need and are clean and warm. The bed was comfy. We had a couple of drinks in the bar before going to our party. Great selection of drinks and pretty cheap. Staff and locals were friendly. Plenty of parking too.
Great value

Stayed here twice now and enjoyed both stays and already booked another stay. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable nice spacious wash area staff are very welcoming TV in bedroom and other accessories. Somewhere to put our bikes and the pub is also great service, friendly and refreshing drinks. You get more than your money's worth

Very friendly and welcoming staff and regulars. Good place to go during the week as its not as busy, but also not too quiet. And they have a pool table if you're into that. Would definitely go again!

Stayed here with friends for one night in two of the twin rooms. Rooms are very good for the price, all the basic amenities are covered, you get tea/coffee facilities, bottled water and biscuits, rooms were clean, exactly what you want when you just need a place to sleep. Check in/out was very easy and staff were very friendly. I would happily stay here again.

Easily the best food in Wigston and hands down the best meal I've ever had in my life. Had Sunday dinner, the cook who I believe is named Zoe, is absolutely fantastic. So nice and friendly and cooks from the heart. Our gigantic dinner was only £9 per person and it was just phenomenal. We plan to go back for Sunday dinners as often as we can.

Extremely friendly atmosphere the landlord is very friendly and always welcomes you, the Martons Pedigree is perfect. Quiz nights are on a Thursday and Sunday lunches are supposed to be superb, I have to still try these.

Just popped in on the way home and decided to have lunch. Food was home cooked, reasonable prices. Best food we have had in a pub for along time. Excellent.
