Pets at Home Dorchester

I went into pets at home this morning to get my dog and her puppies to vets 4 pets, she’s had a vet upset stomach since giving birth and unfortunately she went to the toilet a few times in pets at home, obviously I was happy to pick up what I could, a lovely young lady helped me! I didn’t catch her name, she was amazing! I kept apologising to her! She reassured me and was lovely! We will definitely be coming back! (Preferably a dog that does not have an upset stomach)

Dealt with Ben on the till and he couldn’t have been more attentive - funny and helpful.

Whilst away on holiday, our 13 year old arthritic Springer developed a swelling on his front leg, we contacted Pets at home to see if they could help, they managed to get a last minute appointment for Frankie, they sorted him out. They were fantastic. Thank you

Bought Guinea pigs from here 3 weeks ago. The girl helping us was extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. Despite our previous experience of owning, she still asked us multiple questions to make sure we were suitable. If only everyone in the world, took as much time,care and passion into their jobs. Thank you

Very helpful staff, went to purchase two guinea pigs, haven't owned guineas before however staff were helpful in giving care information. Cages all a bit small for guineas so i purchased the biggest rabbit cage they had for them for £35 and let them run around the spare room as they please during the day. Staff let us hold the animals to ensure they were the right ones for us and they only sell them in pairs! Good parking area.

Spoke with a very knowledgeable lady about the small animal we wanted to purchase. I was pleased with the level of experience, disappointed that apparently they don't stock cages large enough, so we'll have to upgrade in the near future.

Very helpful staff. Polite friendly. Not the best if visits due to the nature of it to the vets but cannot fault them with how they dealt with us.

Adopted a rabbit from here, they were very informative and helped me gain 10% off with a promotion I didn't know about! They even performed a quick health check before we took her on. Their level of care for animals is above and beyond.

I visited the Dorchester branch today (Thursday 7th October - 12:30 pm) and want to express my thanks to a young lad that I felt went above and beyond. He was busy, but when I requested help from him, he was only too happy to oblige. Then without asking, he stayed with me until I’d completed my purchase, to carry everything to my car. Thank you to this young man - I wish I had taken his name, but I’m hoping, as he was the only male in there, this review will reach the correct person.

Although there is one member of staff that seems unable to online order correctly, the rest of the staff have been amazing, either quickly sorted out the incorrect orders or helped on other advice. Although it's a brand company the staff are very knowledgeable about their products and pet care

Staff were very friendly. It was my first time using their services and I was pleasantly surprised. Gemma the veterinary nurse was absolutely excellent. She was patient and helpful, really knowledgable about my breed of dog and courteous and kind. I will defiantly be using their services again.
