Waterside Garden Centre

This was my first visit since the flood and refurb. Very impressed. Great variety both of plants and related stuff. Other shops there are good too. The cafe was doing well. We enjoyed sitting outside. Service a bit patchy.

My favourite place to go. I get all my fish products and live fish. I buy my summer and winter plants which are always of a high quality. The restaurant is also a good place to go with delicious food and service with a smile. My daughters also love it and take my grandchildren too

Oh my goodness, we have driven past this garden centre a few times whilst visiting family, but today was my first visit.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, that was reasonably priced and served quickly. Can't fault the food or the staff; both were excellent! Also, the dining area was beautifully laid out and decorated for the festive season.

After breakfast, we explored the rest of the garden center, and its a shame we live 300+ miles away or else we would be back frequently! But I'm sure it won't be long before we visit again! Such an incredible selection of garden accessories and plants... something for every size of garden, and priced reasonably too!

Great to see the place back. A wonderful selection of gifts, house plants outdoor plants and everything for the garden in-between at great value prices. Beautiful deli with fresh meat and beautiful cakes, biscuits and jams. Had a visit to the restaurant also they have indoor and outdoor seating and a hadva beautiful slice of cake and tea.

A nice garden centre that is not part of a chain or group. Great plant stock that is well looked after. Lots to choose from in both plants and garden hardware. Just been refurbished after the flooding earlier in the year. A nice cafe for that well earned cuppa after selecting your plants.

Post flood recovery has enabled Waterside to reset. I loved the refreshed layout, great products, and the same friendly, professional staff. The shop and toilet experience were the only things we sampled so far. Having not used restaurant facilities, I am unable to give any feedback from there. Great job, thanks to the hard work from the owners, staff, and local businesses. A very much missed local business back in the game.

I called today as I was driving from Newark to see if they had two blue grass plants in, I was on my way to Peterborough and didn't want to waste my time if they didnt. I spoke to Sam on the phone who was really helpful and friendly. He offered to grab two of the largest ones I wanted and put them in the shed for me. I didn't get to speak to him when I went to collect them as he was talking to some other people. I had been in the day before and I heard him talking to some one else checking if they were ok or if they needed anything else. I just want to say a big thank you to him for making my day a little easier and quicker by being able to just grab them and go. You need more people like him with good customer service skills and helpful. Thank you Sam.

Loads of parking, and lots to look at in the many different shops, clothes, shoes, groceries, chilled meats, frozen goodies and the usual garden centre stuff.... But the icing on the cake is, literally, the cake counter, and the restaurant. The fish (in beer batter) with chunky chips and mushy peas is incredible, not too be missed, and you won't have room for the cake, but they are all soooo delicious you really have to take at least one home with you....

Lovely place for plants & flowers and other items mostly undercover. .
Independent shops too.
Lovely cafe with inside & outside seating.
Children play area.
Toilets.
Disabled friendly.

Our first re visit since the flooding and as always the staff, service and experience is second to none. I'd highly recommend the coffee and walnut cake. Lovely afternoon out.

Waterside is the best garden centre I've ever been to. The variety of plants is just unreal and they are very well taken care of. Staff is nice and friendly. Fantastic. Love it 👍

Really impressed how this garden centre has developed from meagre beginnings to be one of the best in the area.Yes there is much to see along with other retail units including Pavers Edinburgh Wool, Pets Corner, Maidenhead Aquatics along with others. The restaurant is always a delight to visit for an excellent choice of meals, snacks and refreshments. 😎💙🇬🇧👍
A fabulous display of colourful garden plants beautifully arranged. Visited the aquarium today and was impressed with their display and supplies.

Lovely place to visit. Would have liked to stayed longer. However, it was a stop off. Restaurant was really clean and food was lovely.

Amazing to see how well they have recovered from the flooding. Glad to see the team is back and all looking so happy and helpful as before. Well worth a visit, and look out for the marker after the tills showing how high the water was.

One of the best garden centres in the area. Love visiting the place during Christmas.

Like this place , good selection of plants , some areas it's card only no cash which seems to bother some people . Pleased the pavers shoe shop takes cards , Nice pet shop there , cafe was nice they come and serve you ,again card only . This place recently had a big flood but you wouldn't know and they could do with some support .

Done such a great job since the flood, just popped by to view progress and have some breakfast, very nice too. Staff always helpful and friendly. Always worth a stop.

This is our local garden centre and it has a great choice of plants trees shrubs etc. There is also Avery well stocked garden tool section and a general store with many gifts and house artefacts. You can also visage others stores on site like Edinburgh Woollen mill. Finally there is also a good butchers and fantastic restaurant.

Went into pavers at waterside garden centre yesterday. Was greeted by an amazing lady called Sandra. She was very friendly. It was a pleasure to recieve great customer service. Thank you Sandra.
