Fernhill Farm Experience

Great country side retreat. Only one weird thing to take into account: in August, cows vanish overnight, replaced by a bunch of tents and lots and lots of weird but kind people. A weird but quite enjoyable background noise can be heard from a distance, mostly during the day tho. Asked the owners about it, they said that it’s related to some kind of mathematicians annual gathering.

This venue is great for a retreat. Secluded, warm, great facilities. Ideally located close to Bristol airport and the city.

Ideal place for purchasing fleece and all things woolly. Home raised beef, lamb and pork. Mutton Club, run once a month in the winter months, is superb. Bring your own booze. Wool classes available. Shearing/open days . NB it’s a working farm so No dogs allowed.

Building and enjoying a festival, a beautiful place with fantastic hosts, can't wait for next year 💜🥳💜

We rented this place for our daughter's handfast ceremony. It fitted the bill perfectly. The place was very well equiped with a large kitchen, there was everything you might need for a lengthy party. Which in our case was from Friday evening til Sunday lunchtime.

Beautiful wedding venue located near Cheddar Gorge in a beautiful area of Somerset. The farm has acres of field for the wedding guests to camp so there is plenty of room for everyone. The weather was glorious all weekend which made everything so much easier. Thank you everyone for a great few days when I photographed Emma and Tom's bohemian style wedding there in the Summer. See you all soon.

About 20 of us stayed at Fernhill Farm for my brothers stag do last month. It was incredible. The farm was beautiful and the Barn and Arcs exceeded all our expectations in size and style. Jen was amazingly helpful and nice. She even aided us in scavenging palates from the farm to construct a make shift table tennis table which we set up in the main Hall. The kitchen and BBQ space was more than adequate for cooking up grub for 20 hungry lads and the Fire pit outside was a great touch for seeing out the nights. We got a recommendation on a local pub from Katie and proceeded to trek across the country fields on the Sunday and had a absolute cracking time at the "Ring O' Bells".
I would highly recommend the Farm for any Stag or Hen parties looking to get out of the city.
Hopefully this is my Brothers only Stag do, but if not we'll definitely be back!

Home of arctangent festival, a place you're not welcome at until after I've bought my ticket.
Luckily I've already bought next year's, so I can confirm that this is one of the best places on earth if you have a yen for polyrhythmic post rock nonsense.
If you have no such yen, you're opinion is of little value.

A fabulous cosy and very welcoming venue, with lots of quirks! An amazing place to hold a party. My daughter and her friends had a wonderful time.

Lovely day, full of all things wool related

Attended wedding at the weekend at Fern Hill Farm. It is a very refreshing venue, really different to the normal wedding. There is lots of character, very secluded, unique and very quirky.

Lovely time spent at a friends wedding reception. Fabulous location and very good facilities.

Perfect place for groups of any sizes to have thier own space and experience being away from the hectic world we live in. Friendly staff, loads of space and great amenities.
