Fabulous! Delicious gluten free cake and gluten free sourdough toastie. Lovely little place and it’s dog friendly. Lots of lovely cake choices and a super cosy & welcoming atmosphere. The coffee is outstanding too. It was easy to park kerbside on the quiet street outside. Highly recommended!

Decided to give this place a try after coming across their Instagram page and seeing that they had gluten-free sourdough available. My mum is a coeliac and it’s quite difficult to find local cafés that provide gf bread. Pleased to say she was very happy with her cheese & ham toastie. She even had a slice of victoria sponge cake which was gf & df! My cheese & onion jam toastie was delicious too!

The quality of the food was fab, the coffees were great, quick and friendly service and overall a lovely atmosphere. Defo recommend and will be back again!

Such a welcoming little coffee shop to stop at after a walk with the dogs. Food is lovely and affordable and we had some delicious mochas. This was our fourth visit and always looking for an excuse to visit again and treat myself to one of their bacon and cream cheese bagels.

Outstanding independent little cafe in Ryton village. The bacon and cream cheese bagel is lovely, and really good quality. The coffees are right up there with the best I've had. I'd highly recommend No. 6.

Fantastic coffee shop in Ryton Village (where Boots used to be) - their cheese scones are lovely and always have a variety, such as plain cheese, with pickled onion, cheese and bacon etc. They also seem to be freshly made each morning as quite often they're still warm! Good cappuccino too. The place is deceptively large as the seating area goes into the back of the cafe. The cakes are home made as well and every day there's a choice (a generous portion too - I've had them to take away a few times). I just wish they'd stay open a bit later on a Saturday as I often meet a friend locally for coffee in the afternoon but they are closed :-(
