Small, but really good quality food. Good size portions , served by friendly staff. Spotlessly clean too!

Took my son here on a date after his operation as a treat. He had the vanilla cupcake and a fruit shoot and I had the Kinder Bueno chocolate brownie which was divine accompanied by my usual latte. Always a good coffee in here and the staff are very friendly 🙏💚

Need to pop back for an evening drink soon!

Lovely place, went in for the 1st time today with the wife and two kids, food was nice and the lady that served us was lovely with our little girl, we'll definitely be going back.

Absolutely great venue to meet up with family members. The breakfasts were superb and the breakfast sandwiches were so filling. The staff could not have done anything else in making our visit so perfect. I would certainly recommend Kathleen’s Coffee Shop to friends and family.☕🥓🍳 I will definitely return and try out there cakes and scones.

Just had afternoon tea with my family and it was delicious and big portions too. Always enjoy this little gem in Ryton and pop in quite regularly from Westerhope. Great place to eat and chill out.

It is a lovely, welcoming up market cafe, thankfully almost on our doorstep. They serve a variety of hot & cold sandwiches & drinks (probably the best Cappuccino we have ever had) & it has a license, so serves alcohol too. The homemade savoury & sweet delights (quiches, cakes, scones, pie of the day, soups, etc.) are absolutely delious. We go once a week for lunch & usually on a Saturday morning for their locally sourced sausage, bacon & mushrooms in a twisted knot white bun- superb! If we didn't have to work most of the week, we'd be there for coffee everyday, as the staff are so lovely too. A 10/10 from us (:

I booked Kathleen’s for a private event on a Sunday afternoon, and I have to say, everything was spot on. The event was a surprise baby shower, and ahead of the day, the team were very helpful and responsive with the set up and any questions I had.

On the day, the team were really friendly, professional and accommodating. Food was great, cocktails were fab and all the party said they had a brilliant time.

Been for late night drinks on a weekend, lovely staff, friendly service and excellent range of craft beers, stouts, ciders and cocktails. Recommended if you want somewhere small, intimate and friendly. Haven't had food yet but will certainly give it a go soon.

I was there with a friend for an afternoon tea. It was amazing. I couldn't fault it at all. Beautiful sandwiches scones were perfect and you could pick your own cake. Just perfect. Would highly recommend this cafe

Nice panini - brie, bacon and cranberry. Very fresh and tasty. They seemed to have a great selection of soft and alcoholic drinks too! It was nice to see it busy and yet it felt very safe and the service was good.
