Burnham Yacht Harbour

The harbour is simply delightful! It's a great spot to visit, even if you're not a boating enthusiast. The Swallow Tail restaurant and bar offer a fantastic view, and taking a leisurely stroll around the harbour provides stunning river views. Plus, it's conveniently located near town, with plenty of dining options, a Tesco Extra, and a charming park suitable for all ages. It's a peaceful and well-maintained area that guarantees a pleasant experience, even when visiting with family. Lovely place to go for a walk, free car parking, can go in the country park, or along the harbour wall, lovely for my dog walk

Easy to park here and walk along to Burnham-On-Crouch front with the dogs.

We're lucky to have inherited a yacht and a berth in the marina. The staff are very friendly and there's a real community spirit about the place. Due to a last minute operation, the yard took on the anti fouling and some repairs for me this year. They were brilliant and not too expensive either.

The boat was doing its annual check in, when finished it was put in the marina waiting to sail back to our London mooring, the people are lovely,the village stunning so if you enjoy long walks watching lots of boats sailing, with the most beautiful background you should come to visit.
Its only at about 1 hour by tren from London Liverpool Street so I really recommend it.

Great harbour, brilliant views and an excellent walk.
Park at the top of the hill and walk down into the harbour at night time. Unimpeded views of the harbour, the town to the east, and open countryside. Excellent for night photography. There is a restaurant with views over the boats, and you can walk right up to the waters edge. Aim for first light or last night to capture the sunrise over the water or the sunset over the fields

The staff here are so helpful. Our yacht water pump seal was leaking, and they were brilliant in fixing it. The location is gorgeous and the facilities are very good. This was our second trip and we will be back!

Nice place for an evening walk. Lots of green spaces to kick a football with kids or speed on a scooter or a bike. Tasty fish and chips just next to Barclay's bank. Free and spacious car park with a view!

Burnham on crouch has a lovely marina and walk along river. Great place for sailing and relaxing .

Well run, well equipped marina in a beautiful part of the world. Who needs the Hamble? Fantastic place to sail to, once you've come to terms with the fact that you have to sail half way to Holland to creep past the Whitaker Spit!

Had ride out on bike from Maldon for some breakfast Sunday morning absolutely gorgeous food was excellent friendly staff sun was shining perfecto 🥰

Great marina with toilet & shower facilities, keycode entry to the pantoons, and restaurant/bar nearby and ample parking space

Beautiful Harbour. Always taking little trips there because we love it so much. Love watching the boating world go by. Our dogs love it too 🐾❤

I stayed there for the first time last week. Can’t complain at all, great joining instructions with access codes and directions etc. lovely coffee machine in room and a comfy bed.

If I had to be picky the shower is a bit weak and hard for a fatty like me to get between the narrow doors but that’s being really picky

A nice place to take a walk around and into Burnham on Crouch on a sunny day. We have eaten in the Restaurant here a few times now too and it has always been good.

I’ve used more marinas around the UK than I can ever count and I have to say that BYH is fantastic. Good facilities but more than that is the staff there are so helpful. Tracy, Jonathan, Tony, Joanne, Matt, Lloyd, Paul, and so many others! Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Friendly, helpful, reliable and always ready to help out at short notice. We run our RYA yacht sailing school out of Burnham Yacht Harbour and have relied on them many times. Thanks guys for a great service.

Great facilities and everyone is so friendly and helpful. 24 hr access is also a big advantage
