Perch Princes Park

Had breakfast here on a sunny Saturday morning, tried the vegan breakfast on the menu and the dirty chai latte. The portion was huge and it was probably one of the best breakfast I had in ages! It was lovely and i would definitely be back.

Lovely cafe, me and my partner were walk ins and we managed to get a seat by the window over looking the lake. My partner had the fish finger sandwich with a cola and I have the vegan fish and chips, he highly recommends his and I highly recommend mine. We will definitely be back to try the other options on the menu 😊 great food + great service ❤ if I may suggest, maybe stocking up on soya milk as well as the oat (the only non dairy offered) as it can be too sweet for tea drinks who like a plant alternative :)

We came in at 11:15 today (Friday 8th September).
First off, it was lovely to be greeted by the young lady behind the bar with a smile and then to be clearly told how to order and that we only had 15 minutes left to order breakfast. Such wonderful and refreshing service.
The venue itself is beautiful, so much light and thankfully avoided the mistake so many venues are making of having too many tables.
The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. I drink a lot of coffee and the coffee here was among the best you can get locally.
All in all a very pleasant meal in truly beautiful surroundings. Thank you to the team. We will be back again.

This was a fantastic dining experience in a beautiful environment. The restaurant has been recently refurbished and looks stunning. It was hard to choose from the wide range of delicious food on the menu. We all ended up opting for pizza, which was freshly prepared in an open kitchen, beautifully thin and crispy, and loaded with toppings. The margheritas had a generous sprinkle of shredded fresh basil which was great. The aubergine pizza was very tasty and the carbonara pizza was superb. Highly highly recommended.
We sat outside and had a peaceful view of the lake with swans gliding past.
You can park directly opposite - there's tonnes of space as Fort Fun appears to be closed down, but bear in mind you have to have coins for the parking meter. No card or app payment available 😬

Great hidden gem in a beautiful park. Food was excellent, and really well cooked. Good drink selection. The absolute star for me though was the toilets... yes, seriously... Whoever thought to put a big red button in the toilet to turn it into a 70s soul disco was an absolute genius. Totally unexpected highlight of my day.

I was assisted and served by pleasant, helpful and polite members of staff. I haven't eaten here, only had a drink. However, a member of staff instantly cleaned the table I was about to use. The drink arrived quickly. The surroundings are pleasant as there is a lake there. This can be viewed, when eating in the restaurant, as there are many windows looking out to this lake. I will definitely return to eat there. .

Lovely cafe, really nice seating areas inside and outside. Plenty of room to visit with multiple buggies. Really friendly and helpful staff.
Good range of reasonably priced food and drinks. Nice comfortable atmosphere and yummy food. Changing table available in disabled toilets.

First time visiting Perch today and loved it! Would be great to see more places like this in Eastbourne. Really enjoyed the free live music, view of the lake, trendy interior and best gluten free pizza I've had in town. The staff were busy so I did have to queue for a while to get my food, but they were doing their best during a packed event and were very apologetic/friendly.

Lovely restaurant in the Princess park. Very yummy food and nice coffee. Love salads! You can enjoy nice views of park. There is funny surprise when you go to the rest room 😉 we come back regularly.

I’ve been here several times but only managed to grab some takeaway and go which was good. Today though we went inside which is larger than I thought. Some very nautical themes with ropes and big windows across the back giving wide open looks into the adjoining lake. Food wise, a good Size menu with some seafood choices and at pretty reasonable prices. Children’s menus were available and offered a good size portion which would be suitable for kids up to about 10. We had mussels which came with a choice of sauces. Really fresh and great tasting. Overall, a lovely place to visit if you want a quick takeaway or dine in experience. Plenty of table both inside and out. A must visit when have a stroll around princess park

Lovely brunch with my granddaughter . We were welcomed in a very warm manner by Hannah who seemed to be running the whole restaurant on her own. What a star she is , so refreshing , happy , polite and very professional!
We really enjoyed our food and will Definately be back - hopefully Hannah will be there to brighten our day again! :-)

The breakfasts are fantastic, and I'm never disappointed. The price, for the quality of food, is excellent. The staff are friendly, observant, and helpful. Views across the lake are lovely, and the atmosphere is always buzzing, yet relaxed.

Great place to take a pram, lovely food and good staff that don’t rush you. The view speaks for itself 😀

We recently moved to the area and have been here twice:once for a full English breakfast and once for their Sunday roast.On both occasions we received a very warm welcome,had great service and really enjoyed the food!The loyalty app is confusing and doesn't seem to work well which is a shame as we would definitely use it!But a great place and the staff are all brilliant too-they treat you as if they really value your custom which is rare these days!Thanks and see you soon :)

Lovely cafe with a fantastic lakeside view. Very easy and accessible to get to, amazing food and the staff are absolute stars! They have a restaurant area in the back with the lakeside view, and a coffee/bar are in the front with both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

First time here for a breakfast and it won’t be the last, delicious food, plenty of it and very tasty. The staff are run of their feet as it got very busy but they continued to be very professional and friendly throughout the service. I’d highly recommend a visit if you haven’t been before. I’ve also had a sharing roast here before with exactly the same experience 🤩

After a nice walk around the Princess Park we went back to Perch for a coffee and a snack. After a warm welcome from the team and looking at the great options on the menu we ended up having a delicious lunch and a spooky Halloween themed salted caramel hot chocolate. We will definitely be returning back to try all other great menu options.

The homemade fish& chips were absolutely delicious 😋 great service and lovely view to the lake.
