Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Lovely place for a breakfast or brunch. Nice and clean. Worth noting: 1) it is on the high-end when it comes to prices 2) cappuccino is not very frothy so it’s more like a caffellatte of flat white.

We stumbled upon this place today and it exceeded all of our expectations. Cute decor, nice staff and reasonable prices. We had the halloumi stack and grilled cheese combo. I’ll be dreaming about them for a while as they were absolutely amazing!!

By far one of the best Cafes I’ve been to. Service is top notch. The team is extremely accommodating. The tomato soup is definitely worth a try (multiple times if you can). The Mezze bowl too is the yummiest I’ve had. Great quality and quantity. Decor and ambience is lovely. Got a lot of work done in a quiet corner. Will definitely come back every time I’m in Leatherhead. Travelled from Bournemouth for work and was worried I wouldn’t find a place to rest and work until I had to return. Great place overall!! The toilet too are beautiful and clean⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Took away a Brownie which was amazing as well!

I absolutely loved this cozy little café.
I'd been looking for a proper speciality coffee shop for a while and it made my day. Barista also performed some beautiful latte art which is always a nice plus.
I bought some beans as well and they are excellent quality. Oh and they do filtered method V60

I wouldn’t say I’m the biggest fan of this town, but this coffee shop is amazing.

It’s the only place in Leatherhead that is what I would consider a real coffee shop. The service was excellent and the prices were fair. It was hard to find a seat on the weekend, but we got lucky.

I had a large cappuccino with oat milk and chocolate powder, and a pot of breakfast tea for my father. He enjoyed it.

This place is an absolute gem not only just in Leatherhead, but for the whole of Surrey. It has become our go to every week for brunch and coffee. The food and drinks are always perfect and the staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Oh and I would add another star if I could for them being so dog friendly!

Best coffee shop around...

Leatherhead centre was desperately in need of a decent venue for a good coffee and a snack. Excellent place to meet and catch-up or stop off pre or post shopping.

Really good coffees and excellent food options, staff friendly and attentive and the venue had a really good vibe. Also has a nice outdoor area and bike parking so a potential pitstop for any cyclist out there and family friendly for prams and young kiddos.

Great place, attentive and polite staff, delicious breakfast!

Love this place, having recently moved to Leatherhead it's become my go to for weekend brunch or a an hour so working. Staff are great, food really good (have to try the Halloumi Stack!) and love the atmosphere. Not cheap, but the above counters the cost. Just wish they had a few more tables!

The hot chocolate this morning was really good and we also had space to leave the bikes! . This is one of my favourite places to visit whenever I'm around.

Edit: 15/07/2022 the toast with avocado is really good. It's a must try if you haven't. The hot chocolate still one of my favourites. Friendly staff as well 😊

A great little shop - I only visited in a search for some half decent bags of fresh coffee beans but the café itself turned out to be a real gem. I'm glad I stopped and had an espresso as it was pretty good and the ambiance inside is rather unique - dark and moody but not oppressive. In fact, it's rather cozy, especially the back area which has some cool mid century seats and fairy lighting. Plus, it's full of lovely green plants. There's outdoor seating with blankets and the staff were very friendly too. Even though the espresso wasn't the best I've had (though perhaps just because I prefer fruity sweet espressos and the house espresso was a bit more dark and chocolatey), it was heads and shoulders above what you'd get in a high street chain, and among the best in comparison to other speciality coffee I've had in the outer London area. Overall, I'd say you can get a very good speciality fix here!

Fantastic to see a new independent coffee shop in Leatherhead, the coffee is the best around.

Every time you visit the staff are exceptionally polite and courteous, and the food options are delicious.

They offer a good selection of pastries and cake, including vegan options if you want. If your visiting for breakfast I recommend the croissants with cheese and tomato (my family love them), but for lunch, you have to treat yourself to their avocado & halloumi on toast. I tried it for the first time last week, and it tasted phenomenal.

Just an all-around fantastic addition to leatherhead. Fantastic coffee, staff and service, and the team are very kind. Highly recommend to any coffee lover.

I've been having a hyper-fixation for smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and I give this store credit for it because the way they make it tastes sooooo good.
I feel like I've visited C&G and eaten so much of it to last almost a year that my taste buds finally have given up on letting me appreciate the flavour of it. Which makes me sad, but it's my body's way of saying that I must move on.
Nevertheless, smashed avo on toast will always be a comfort meal to me thanks to the pleasant calmness I always felt while eating here on most of my mornings. Eating it will make me feel safe and remind me of a nostalgic familiarity, even if I'm in an unfamiliar place far far away.
So, thank you for giving me an opportunity to experience what it would feel like to be part of a warm home over the past couple of months. You'll forever hold a fond place in my memory.

Popped in here whilst my beema was in the mechanics. Great atmosphere and the serving staff were very friendly! Chai latte and the avo stack were sublime. Could easily sit in here for hours (even more than my beema and phwoar she goes)

SUGGESTION FOR OWNERS: why not open up to a wine bar in the evening?

An epic morning coffee stop! You could use the flat white as race car fuel, it’s punchy and very good. The breakfast oats are by far the best I’ve found around. A simple food, by done well and with quality ingredients. It’s hard to find quality and at good value, Charlie and Ginger have it. Lovely staff, lovely setting to watch the world wake up. Thank you for having me.
