Long Island Shutters

Our experience with Long Island Shutters from start to finish was excellent and a breeze. We had a few companies come out to our home to give us a quote and Chris was the most knowledgeable, informative and friendly. He didn’t put pressure on us to go ahead with the quote, even though we knew Long Island Shutters was the one.

The lead time was spot on, even over the Christmas and New Year period. Everyone we had contact with were professional and courteous. Sharon at the office was always friendly when I called up to make the payments. Alison was also great when she called to book in the installation.

On installation day, Lee was punctual and very efficient in installing the shutters. The shutters are top quality and installed brilliantly. He also took the time to answer any of our questions and explained the best ways to maintain and clean them.

We love our new shutters and could not recommend Long Island Shutters enough.

Friendly service at the showroom. Straightforward pricing system with all options explained in detail. Good advice regarding shutter selection, size and colours available. Visited our house to measure and confirm size and price without any sales pressure. The fitter was friendly and carried out the work to a high standard and cleared away all rubbish and left it very neat and tidy. He explained all functions and maintenance required to keep the shutters in good condition. I would recommend Long Island Shutters for their excellent service.

We had shutters installed in our two front rooms in June and are so happy with the results. Peter came round to do the initial quote and talk about the product and we were really impressed with his advice on how to line the design of the shutters up again different types of windows so it looked great from inside and outside.
We did pay a little more than other quotes but think that the product and service were definitely superior. Plus the after care was incredible too as we notice a couple of tiny cracks in some of the individual shutter ‘planks’ after installation and they were sorted are replaced really quickly and easily. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic company, very easy to work with.

Pete came over and measured the shutters, when delivered and installed they fit perfectly. It was a tricky job as they are made to measure due to the shapes of the windows. Blocks the light out really well and they are very high quality.

Joe did a fantastic job measuring the blinds. Again the fit and the quality both excellent. I'm glad I used long island shutters, couldnt have done a better job!

This is my second time having shutters made and fitted by this company. From the very first meeting to get measurements and decide what options to go for I knew I was going to like doing business with them. I didn’t bother to shop around the first time because I liked the service. When I moved to my new house I was straight on the phone. The admin team are polite, on the ball and friendly and when it came to fitting, I had two lovely friendly profession guys doing a great job. They clean up after themselves, take all the rubbish away and leave everything looking lovely. I’ve already recommended 2 people and I will continue to shout about them whenever the opportunity arises.

The first consultation was really interesting with the right amount of information about products. All the measurements were done at the time so I didn't need an additional appointment. The fitting date was really convenient and even though I had wanted a later date originally, I was accommodated when an earlier date came up that I wanted. The fitters were lovely, respectful and well mannered. They didn't leave a speck of dust anywhere. The shutters are absolutely beautiful, the uprights perfectly match my window frames so they look as good from the outside as they do from the inside, and this maximises the light coming in. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family

We have used this company in two of our homes over 5 years, every encounter has been professional and the workmanship is fantastic. We are currently renovating our current home and room by room we are adding these lovely shutters. Definitely recommend
