Apinya Thai Massage Therapies

I had the Thai combination massage with therapist Gai. She was very good and confirmed my issue areas and preferred pressure. I have issues with lower back and tight leg muscles. At the end of the session I felt great, one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. Already booked the next one.

I have have several massages in the past but never a Thai massage. Booked an appointment last minute as I was in a lot of pain in my lower back, luckily they were able to accommodate me. I can honestly say it was one of the best deep tissue massages I have had. Aim was brilliant and concentrated on the area that was a problem, but also did a thorough full body massage too. She was very professional and knew her 'stuff'. I came out feeling so much better than when I went in. Thank you Aim I will be back soon.

There is no good, bad and ugly here...only good. Before even getting to the massage part, you are aware that you have entered an upmarket establishment. The ambiance from the music, to the scent machines everywhere is designed to get you in the mood to relax. I personally found it too warm but it will probably suit most clients. The toilet is excellent. Large. Spotless. Smelt fantastic. Top marks.

The manageress is welcoming and efficient. You fill out your medical forms (first time visitor) and then go to your therapy room. A tip is to not go in for an "emergency" treatment as they seem to be exceptionally busy weekends and after 17h00. You are very unlikely to get an appointment on the day so book ahead preventatively.

Onto the actual treatment. The room is pleasant enough bearing in mind you will be face down or eyes closed for most of the time. I think the bed had an electric warming mat as it certainly felt warm.

My therapist for the session was Dao who speaks good English and is very friendly. I was booked in for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and Dao really took her time finding her way round to all the right spots.

Initially, it was Thai style (dry) poking and prodding although started face down not face up. Elbows were involved. Then walking on back, thighs, calfs. Each muscle group was attended to thoroughly. This was followed by kneading and finally an oil massage to finish off and smooth everything out..

After a hot towel was used to wipe down, the final element of stretching took place.

Overall, it was an excellent deep tissue and Thai massage. Certainly one of the better ones I have had. Top 3? Top 5?

I agree with the couple of comments that it is a little overpriced. Perhaps they should drop the heating to 21 degrees and reduce the price to £55 to reflect a 10% premium to others places (instead of 20%) that adequately reflects their positioning.

I imagine with the amounts of bookings I am in the minority. Today I have the "good pain" reflecting a professional massage and can highly recommend the massage therapy. the therapist (Dao) and the overall experience. Great addition to the high street.

I was massaged by Grace who was friendly and professional. I arrived with alot of tension in my neck and shoulders which was causing me pain, after an hour massage I felt so much better and far more relaxed. Highly recommend! I'll be returning soon. Thank you!

Having just got back from Thailand, where we'd had some of the best massages we've ever had, we really needed something to decompress us after our 14 hour flight.

Gai & Aim did not disappoint, infact we'd go as far as saying they were better than some of the massages we had out in Thailand.

Professional, intuitive and extremely knowledgeable, we'll definitely be coming back again after they left us feeling realigned and reinvigorated once more.

I had my first Thai massage with Gai. Straight away I knew I was in very safe hands. She did an amazing deep tissue massage and there was some manipulation of the back too, resulting in some satisfying cracks. She was thorough and has magic hands. I recommend 100% - I booked another straight away.

I had a Classic Thai massage with Nina and it was very good. Friendly team and clean rooms . I will definitely visit again soon .

I have had 3 x 1.5hr Thai Massages over consecutive weekends with Grace.
I am very pleased with the complete experience so far and will continue to have regular.
Made very welcome on arrival, always greeted with smile at reception, the rooms are spotless and the massage tables very comfortable, especially the face down cushion.
Grace is very experienced and skill full.

Yesterday night my partner and I went for a last minute couple massage and it was a pleasant and amazing experience. Aim was very professional and caring the best massage I have in a long time, I share already the details with my friends, I felt like a baby cared for by its mother.

I have had lots of massages locally but Grace at Apinya Epping is the very best in the business. I train in Muay Thai and Kickboxing and Grace has helped me with opening up my hips and my flexibility has improved massively. If you don’t train still go and see Grace as she is fantastic at relaxing your body and getting rid of all the knots and tension. Thank you Grace ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Aim gave an amazing massage! Really got deep in and knew exactly where I was tight! Probably the est massage I have ever had! She gave me advice on how to stretch my problem areas!! Sooo great! I recommend booking with Aim!

Service was very professional, space was clean, calming. Massage was amazing.
I especially loved the warm bed and getting cleaned by warm towels from oil after massage. Will be back for sure.

I had a great massage from Grace a few days ago. I was wuite sore during the massage, but because of my tightness. The next few days the toxins were still coming out of my body. But once that has passed, I feel great, mentally and physically. I will definatly be back to see grace. Thank you

I have used Apinya quite a few times now and have chosen a different treatment each time. The last treatment I had was TokSen Massage with Dao, I have never experienced such a deep massage without the pain you can normally have. I left feeling like a new person and so relaxed and all my aches and pains had melted away. The thought of the massage before with a hammer and wooden chisel wasn't it was going to be relaxing but when looking into it I thought I would give it a try. I will 100% be having this treatment again.

Amazing massage both relaxing and improved aches and digestive blockages. Definitely worth a visit. Aim my massage therapist provided a beautiful experience.

My first ever time getting a massage and it was incredible! Gai was amazing she picked up that I wasn’t used to getting a massage so she lowered the pressure without me asking whilst still being as thorough as possible. I had so much tension in my back I wasn’t aware of since leaving my posture has improved my gym workouts are pain free and my sleep is better. I can’t wait to return !
The lady at reception was also super friendly and welcoming the place was immaculate 10/10 overall

I had my first Tok Sen massage last night with Dao. She was amazing! I did book in for a remedial massage but was given a Tok Sen massage which I’m assuming was what they felt was what I needed. The massage was really great, painful at times because of how much my body needed it, but I slept like a baby and I’m looking forward to having regular massages with Dao!

First time to Apinya in Epping for myself and my friend who suffers from MS. I was with Dao and my friend was with Pim. I had a lot of muscle tension in my shoulders and neck. We had a 60 min Thai massage and felt so much better after it. We both said straight after the massage how much lighter our bodies felt, almost like walking on air. My friend called me this morning and said for the first time in a long time she woke up and managed to get out of bed straight away with no pain. My neck and shoulders feel so loose with no tension, amazing. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely go back again.
