Poppy's Cafe

We eat here all the time and thought I would write a review. It’s a great little place and staff are always polite. 10/10. Breakfasts, salads, hot drinks and even the deserts are nice here !

Food is quite pricey BUT portion sizes are huge and the food tastes wonderful. Would recommend to anyone as a treat. Definitely worth mentioning I got the biggest breakfast however so it may be cheaper if you’re not as greedy as me!

Really nice time in here. I had the Mediterranean breakfast, which was really tasty, especially the feta cheese and fried egg, and my girlfriend had the vegan breakfast, which she said was really tasty too. The service was warm and friendly, and the interior design was really good too. I recommend this place if you fancy some nice cafe food, some with a twist. Thank you very much

Went for a brunch on a Sunday and had a great meal. Hadn't been since the revamp and it is done very tastefully and feels very comfortable.

Service was very quick and the selection was diverse enough to appeal to many people. Whilst there isn't a huge range for vegans, they are there but vegetarians fare a lot better and carnivores significantly more so. Based on our order, I think they keep the menu manageable and whatever is sold is done perfectly.

Our Eggs Florentine, Eggs Royale and Shakshuka hit the spot and whilst freshly cooked, were delivered quickly. All meals were scrumptious although I reckon the Eggs were more filling than the Shakshuka. Perhaps a little more sauce and a couple of extra slices of toast would not go amiss.

I personally found the cappuccino needed an extra shot of coffee for the amount of milk in the large mug but the others disagreed. If you like it strong, I would suggest ordering an extra shot.

The restaurant was clean, seating was fast, service was efficient, staff were friendly and very helpful.

Overall, I would certainly make my way back there and try out other items on the menu.

So surprised at the amazing food quality from here. I had the peri peri chicken with rice, but ate it too quickly to get a picture. My friend had an amazing chicken salad with halloumi, and my sister had a chicken avocado wrap with halloumi. All looked so delicious. Freshly squeezed orange juice too. Friendly staff, nice layout and great atmosphere.

Probably the best cheese omelette my daughter and I have ever tasted anywhere. Plus curly fries and salad... Perfect. We are regulars whenever we're in Epping.

Food always delicious, dog friendly, child friendly, simply just love it. I've never sampled the cakes but honestly they are calling me the look so tempting. It can get busy but they are very keen to accommodate you and will make you comfortable whilst you wait. We'll worth a visit

Visited recently for lunch with a friend. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and a nice, varied menu, especially for breakfast/brunch.

Great coffee and I can definitely recommend the Eggs Florentine.

All reasonably priced and short waiting times.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Place is kid, buggy and wheelchair friendly.

Would definitely visit again!

Really happy to see this cafe back open again after their refurbishment. The food is better quality now (used to be very cheap and cheerful) but still remains good value and good portion size.
The family who runs Poppy's cafe and their kebabery are lovely as are the rest of the staff as well.

Popped in here on a whim whilst in the area. Was very busy however was seated in under 10 mins. Massive menu, delicious food and coffee and great service from the staff. Will be returning if in the area. Thanks!

Lovely cafe! This is a regular spot for a bit of breakfast or lunch for me and my family and/or friends - good food, large menu with plenty of options and they do fabulous smoothies which is always a winner for me and my other half! Highly recommend :)

Nice food, good value, friendly staff - just what you want. No surprise its so busy at lunchtime!

Wow great little gem in the middle of Epping, loved the breakfast, fresh ingredients, sourdough bread was such a lovely touch.
And at the end of the breakfast we had mimosa' s which made a lovely breakfast a lovely end :).
Will definitely come again, the service was very efficient and friendly.

Quick service and delicious food. We had the Poppy’s Special & American with extra hash brown and both were really good.

Awesome food, below is the berry mix smoothie and the full monty (I added extra smoked salmon!) - they can get a little full at peak times so try not to be disappointed if you have to wait!

Great, wholesome food, generous portions, quick service and reasonable prices.

After nearly 2 years of refurbishment and the hassles with the council's he's done a brilliant job the beams on the wall are from the original structure of the building that shows you how old that building is great job

Oh my days..this place is amazing..the breakfast choice is unreal...

I love it there. Friendly team, personal service, nice food. It get very busy some times, so it could be difficult to get a table, you might need to wait a little bit, but team is very helpful and tries to seat you as soon as possible. Good choice of breakfast/ brunch menu, very nice presentation, good quality products, and overall chef/ chefs do a pretty good job 🙂 overall very nice place to have a good meal in nice atmosphere 🙂

Delicious food and quality service. Everything was perfect. The employees were also very attentive and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who goes to Epping
