Nice wander around the shop a lady called Rosie asked if we needed any help. We were able to ask about furniture but take our time without being put under any pressure. We were interested in a particular sofa but we were undecided between that one and a sofa in another shop. At no time were we given any hassle As it turned out we came back in half an hour and made our purchase

Superb customer service and problem resolution after us as customers had to change our order twice. Served by Tim on Saturday who was very helpful and order placed. Returned Sunday and assisted by Nick to change order after measuring and remeasuring on Saturday evening. Made to feel very at ease and not under pressure on either visit by both Tim and Nick and nothing was a problem for them. Called on Monday to change order for a second time and again accommodated us with the minimum of fuss. Great guys, great service and great products and prices too. Very helpful and friendly staff at Furniture Village Gateshead. Didn’t mind us spending an hour sitting on the sofa choosing fabrics and ensuring it was really comfy! Delivery service was excellent and guys great! Very happy with the service provided and the products purchased!

Visited Furniture Village shop at Metro Retail park last week to look for a dining table and chairs. We were attended to very kindly by sales consultant Richard Brennan who advised us regarding the each piece of furniture we looked at. We were very impressed with the way Richard was able to arrange and speed up the delivery service date once we had purchased the furniture. Just bought a excellent Sofa with the guidance of Neil Armstrong. Excellent advice and Neil was very helpful and friendly. No pushy sales talk just plain talking and I felt comfortable about my purchase

When entering showroom an adviser (Neil) approached my husband and myself and asked if he could help and would we like a drink (which we did), We originally wanted a 3 piece to replace our old one as it is looking worse for wear, we wanted the same 3 piece as last time but in a different colour as it has been a really good one (we got it from Furniture Village about 12 year ago)Neil left us to look around while he got our drinks, he gave us some swatch books to choose which quality and colour of leather we would like, I asked what a certain leather was and he said to be careful if we got that one as the shading on the finished article could be different shades due to the type of leather it is and he showed us what happens if it got scratched this was good to know as we may have chose that leather. We chose 3 different leathers we were interested in and Neil showed us what the leather would look like by showing us other seats that were made of it in the showroom, this was really helpful as one I had liked I found I didn’t like the look or feel of the leather of the sofa when I sat on it, then Neil took us to a sofa made of one of the other leathers we were interested in and we liked it, however, we also liked the actual sofa too so Neil then quoted us a price for that one as well as the one we had originally wanted. So long story short we bought the one that had just been shown to us. If it hadn’t been for Neil taking the time in showing us around and explaining all the differences and the pros and cons of the different leathers we’d never have seen this sofa that we love. Nothing was a problem to Neil, he listened to our requirements and took our lifestyle into account when recommending us on what covering to have or avoid (we have dogs and a grandchild so some coverings would have not been practical) Oh and we were also given another drink and a cookie whilst testing out our new purchase whilst he sorted out the paperwork. Neil was so helpful and covered and explained all questions we asked, he was friendly, and professional and made sure we had exactly what we needed and understood everything before we left the showroom. Couldn’t have asked for more.

First class service Tim was straight to the point no hard sale, got a great deal from him and the whole process was very professional and efficient. We would highly recommend Tim as your first person to call if your looking for a personal service

I came into Furniture Village, spoke to Neil Armstrong who was very friendly and accommodating to my sofa needs, he went through different sofas and provided me indepth info on what i should go for. My wife and i picked one and loved one particular sofa, quality and looks really good with our interior design. Neil was very helpful and packaged us with a really good deal. Highly recommend!

Ordered our sofa on Monday with Craig. He got us a good deal and was not pushy at all. He even gave us a little freebie.

Jane was brilliant throughout our visit when we were choosing the best options for our needs. She has kept us up to date from purchase to delivery, and has supported us at every step. Cannot thank Jane enough for her help and guidance. We now have a perfect bed for our needs, especially given my mobility and disability requirements.

We were out looking for some ideas for a replacement sofa with no intention to buy straight away. However, Tim was attentive and extremely knowledgeable without being pushy or overbearing.in the slightest.

Took my elderly mother to this store for a sofa. We were very well looked after by Tim who took care to provide full details of products and costs. After looking at 5 products, Tim helped mum with her purchase in a quick and professional manner. We were given full detail of after care packages, and potential waiting times for the chosen sofa. Mum really enjoyed her visit to the store, and appreciated Tim's help and guidance without any sign of pressure to purchase.
