Calweton Veterinary Group, Looe

Positive visit at Looe Calweton vets yesterday. Always welcoming and Emma, our Vet was very patient and kind to Henry who can be nervous and belligerent when being examined. Another rescue dog with sone behavioural issues!!
Excellent tips from Emma on how to train Henry to accept future examinations more calmly.

This is an excellent practice.
The staff are always friendly and very professional. It nice to deal with people who make you feel confident when we take Wilma there. We’ve been taking her there fir 9 years and there’s never been an issue.

It was Reg's 1st visit to Calweton. Everyone was lovely, calm and gentle. Reg was understandably cautious but relaxed and happy.

Very friendly efficient team. Always have time to talk about pets, giving tips and advice.

Our little Frenchie developed an itch in her ear which made her very uncomfortable. We were away in Cornwall on holiday and thankfully found Calweton in the town up from us. They gave us an appt for the next day and were seen to on time. She was given some meds and ears cleaned. She is much better now.

Our Jack Russell cross (Eddie) had an issue with his eye whilst we were on holiday in Polperro, and was clearly in a lot of pain. I called in to ask if anyone could see him; Eddie was seen the same day and received excellent care and treatment. I can’t thank the the staff enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Very friendly above and beyond help with understanding the pet health vaccination scheme for travel. Ring you at home if you leave a query. The receptionists are so lovely too and really really knowledgeable. Put my mind at ease over several important matters. Thanks you lot you are great!

I took my grandson's pet rat to be euthanized on Thursday and the vet and the receptionist were just so kind m. My daughter had told me that I would just have to hand the rat over at the door but I was invited in to the consulting room. Where the vet asked me about the rat and explained what they would do. He asked me to wait while the rat was euthanised so I chatted to the lovely receptionist. When he came back downstairs he told me that the rat had peacefully gone to sleep and was now in a better place. So kind and empathetic. I thoroughly recommend this practice.

Our toy poodle Freddies microchip came out whilst holidaying in Looe, I took him to Calweton where he was assessed and a new chip inserted, the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate recommended them or using again if the need arises. Thanks again!

We have been using Calweton vets in Looe for the past four years. We have always had great service from the practice. I think the vets are really good, we trust them with our pets health and would strongly recommend them to anyone in the area.

Visiting family in the area and dog got a tick I couldn't get out. The vets were really friendly and helpful. Centrally located near the car park with smart clean facilities. Disabled access.

Excellent service, staff are friendly and really helpful. Very pleased with the quality of care for my cats.

I took in a sick wild pheasant and they accepted it and were very kind. In the past they have also been very helpful concerning lost or stray cats. I don't have any pets myself.

I really like this vet practice they are very helpful, good with my cats and very frindly. when the cats have been very poorly they were very professional and understanding

This vets are the most gentile , loving place ever , we took are loving very poorly cat to be put to sleep , I couldn't attend, as I was so upset, my husband took him , he said they were very good , Dennis never felt a thing, and slowly slipt away , his is now at home in the garden X thank you for been so kind X and a massive thank you for the card you sent a few days later, that ment so much , X never used such a caring vets X a massive thank you xxxx

I have used the vets for a long time & have always been extremely happy with the service I have received & the care that my animals have had. I would certainly recommend the veterinary group to others & plan to continue to use them in the future.

Had to take the dog there whilst on holiday. Saw a lovely vet. Could not be happier with his treatment of Ellie.
