Judes Ferry

The new team has done wonders.We finally made it out to try the new food and it's on an entirely different level from the previous menu. The burger came with chips, salad, coleslaw and onion rings in an extremely generous portion. All very freshly made to order! My son had the lasagna (which I taxed) and it was delicious. He finished the entire plate and that says alot as he is very particular with food. My wife had the chicken burger that was dressed up just like my burger and it was equally impressive. Change is hard to take in sometimes but this change was executed to perfection. I have been coming here for the past 3 years and what they have done has only improved the pub we love. Great stuff!

We had our first meal under the new management and we were quite pleased! Fish & chips, chicken burger, and kids dinner includes ice cream.

Visited Jude’s Ferry for a Sunday carvery and can highly recommend. From walking through the door with our 3 dogs to leaving we were made so welcome. Bar staff very friendly found us a spacious table at the back of the bar area, dogs were made a fuss of with treats - their own water they provided in a bowl where we were sat. Carvery was their first week and was superb. The chefs so enthusiastic and proud of their food they had made, portion sizes very good and they were so generous, my beef looked like a cut of steak. Tender and tasty beef, I only like home cooked roast potato as nowhere gets it right - these were perfect. My partner vegetarian so was an option for him and he thoroughly enjoyed. Then came the dessert menu £5.95 a dessert however we were full, nice to see a vegan cheesecake on there so caters for everyone. Will definitely be returning, food staff atmosphere spot on. Customer service lacks in many places - not here !! opening doors the chefs from their workstation and barman from the bar when I had my hands full with food. Jude’s Ferry a few years ago terrible - new ownership and certainly turning it around you can see a lot of passion. Sunday carvery was walk in but can see them getting very busy so worth checking before visiting. Thankyou Jude’s Ferry will be back soon ☺

Sunday carvery at the judes is becoming a regular thing for me and my boy. The food is absolutely outstanding along with the service and the atmosphere. I'll definitely keep going back and the whole team at the judes ferry should be happy with what there doing..

Sunday carvery was fantastic! Huge portions and vegetarian option available. Loved the cauliflower cheese it was really tasty. Nut roast was fantastic(either it was homemade or not I enjoyed it), my boyfriend said the meat was nice and in generous amount. The biggest plus is dogs allowed in restaurant.
Beer on a beer garden by the river has always been pleasant. And little walk by the river is handy for us with dogs😉

I can honestly say since the new owners have taken over the place has transformed to a beautiful family pub, serving freshly cooked food, to theme nights, like bingo, music, live bands etc and the garden is amazing big play area, boats mooring up its truly an amazing place to go with the family even the dog! Best place around for miles.

Had a family meal yesterday 15 of us 😋 the service was exceptional they could not do enough for us! The food was outstanding all cooked to perfection very big portions all freshly cooked,the chef came out to meet us and introduce herself which was really nice to, my mum had a great birthday thank you so much to the new judes ferry team!

A friend took me to lunch yesterday and we were both impressed with how the place is looking now. Our food was lovely and cooked perfectly and all the staff were lovely and helpful as well, even Jane the chef came out and introduced herself to us. Will definitely be returning. Well done everyone.

Group of 19 of us including 4 children plus a pram were accommodated and catered for with ease and smiles all round! We were looked after and the children had a great time running around and eating ice cream! A really lovely family pub

The Roast Dinner! Wow! Best one I have had for a long time. We are so thankful this amazing team have taken over our long neglected pub! They still have much to do so cut them some slack for a bit whilst they turn it round 💗

Amazing stayed as a motor home stop over for one night. Can’t rate it enough the staff extremely friendly, nice atmosphere, good food, great service. Prices really reasonable. Meal for 2 bottle of wine under £50.00!

I had the “hey Jude” beef burger and it was incredible! Staff were very friendly and inviting, home cooked fresh food, completely full and satisfied, will be back again very soon!! Also under complete new management, new chefs and new menu

Great little place not only for drinks but Sunday dinner was excellent. Reasonably priced too.They have added on to the building with a dining area now. Nestled on a little canal, you can enjoy outdoor seating also. Went there over 40 years ago when we lived in England and was happy to see it's still open!

Just had a roast at the Jude’s ferry and it was phenomenal, best roast I’ve had in a very long time, so fresh and home cooked, portion sizes are huge, Will come back very soon. Under new management, total refurb & new chefs.

First time back since it has been refurbished!
It was supperb!!! From being greeted at the bar to paying for the bill! All staff was amazing and so was the food.
Was lovely to meet the chef too ! Keep up the great work and will be be spreading the word!

Lovely spot next to a river. Very relaxing. Nice drinks selection. Prawn cocktail and halloumi fries very tasty. Overall a great, laid back afternoon!

Great food at a good price with great shaded outdoor seating on the River Lark. Can't recommend the grilled chicken w/wild mushroom sauce, Belgian waffle, and pork schnitzel enough. The lasagna is great as well.

Such an awesome spot. The fish and chips are always delicious, and the schnitzel is my absolute favorite. Pairs incredibly with a cold Guinness. The chips are always crispy, and it's such a beautiful place. This is by far my favorite spot in the Mildenhall area, and I'd highly recommend going to Jude's Ferry! Also - to the dude playing live music on August 27th 2021 - you've got a great voice.

Very nice food and great location. We stopped here for a date night and we were quite happy with our meal and the friendliness of the people there. We will come back!
