Strawberry Fields Farm Shop Buckfastleigh

A lovely warm welcome awaited us in Strawberry Fields Farm shop. I love what they’ve done with the place. This is a fantastic combination of deli, cafe and electric charge car park. Several counters laden with savoury and sweet pastries will have your mouth watering before you reach the till.

Our visit followed an all day kayak trip on the river Dart. There’s a perfect slipway at the back of the car park and we had asked in advance if it would be ok to park for the day. The owners were very relaxed about it and we were more than happy to indulge in cups of tea and a slice of lemon drizzle after our adventure.

Myself and family pulled into the cafe with our caravan as a breakfast stop before heading back up to Birmingham, the car park itself is very spacious and can/ will accommodate all customers, along with the Osprey charging stations!
The food and drink was absolutely fantastic!! Not greasy or fatty, the wait time on food was very reasonable too, will definitely be coming back!!

Easy access off A38, a welcome pit-stop for people and vehicles, with lots of rapid chargers, at last someone has grasped the future and made it easy to top-up to and from the west country.
Although the chargers a quick, there's still time to enjoy and snack and buy from the produce on offer.
I had a well filled tasty steak pasty an my wife enjoyed the cheese and chutney scotch eggs.

Farm shop with a cafe, seating outside, toilets and free parking. Even electric charge points/parking too.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat & a few groceries. Despite the queue this soon went down and I got served very quickly. Nice tasty food on offer and I noticed that people were quite fond of the cakes and pastries!

Needed to stop to charge my car, perfect little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Home made cakes and a lovely atmosphere. Made a point of stopping again on the way back.

Brilliant place to charge an EV car - fast & plenty of spaces. Makes a nice change to queuing for 2 cramped spots at a motorway service station. Plus the bonus of a lovely farm shop & cafe. We loved the cake, huge bun & steak pasty. Friendly service. But not cheap!

Absolutely brilliant place to take a break and charge an EV quickly and simply while having a coffee or a bite to eat. Good food, neat little farm shop, nice location, pleasant staff and a friendly feel. Just makes so much more sense than jostling at the cattle markets on the motorway and fighting over a single charger. There are LOADS here! Definitely will return here time and time again, I'm sure.

Thank you so much to Jo and team for a really positive experience at Strawberry fields. It was our first visit and we came in for a hot chocolate and a cuppa, which was lovely but shortly after we sat down our 4 year old had managed to knock over all the drinks over herself! The response was amazing - they helped me strip her off and Jo took little one straight to the kitchen where she ran her legs under cold water while another lovely staff member looked after our 8 year old. Luckily little one was fine thanks to their quick response and by the time we were back at our table our drinks had all been replaced and the kids were happy. It was a memorable first visit but such a lovely place and we’ll definitely visit again. Thank you so so much!

I had a wonderful time staying at this establishment. While my car was being charged, I enjoyed two pizzas and a local Lager. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and drink during my brief stay.

Just bought a coach party in for a cup of tea and cake on the way back from exmouth which was lovely but the real reason for the 5 star review is because of the staff. They are extremely helpful and really were lovely to all my coach customers. Your staff are a real credit to your business.

Great place to charge EV. Farm shop a bit pricey on some items but others ok. Good selections and staff ok. Outside seating area is nice.

Was nearby and needed a quick EV charge. Combined with a lovely break at Strawberry Fields for Cornish Pasties, Strawberrys and Cakes.

On the 13th of July (Saturday) the brown hair young lady at the till is amazingly lovely, the ginger hair young lady who did my bap is helpful and amazing, too, the older lady who did the coffee is a bit grumpy but still these young people makes the place wonderful! Thank you!

We called here for afternoon tea and found it to be a busy and pleasant place. We enjoyed coffee and cakes - the choices were too many and too lovely. An excellent place and we are glad we found it.

Great find, nice coffee beans used and tastiest sausage roll I’ve had in ages. The Hog Scotch Egg was the business as well

Friendly staff, decent food and coffee, a very nice stopping point along the motorway.

Fantastic Farm shop, cafe and even better, EV charging him with 2 long bays for caravans. Bath buns are the best.
