Haveli Great Lumley

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening out at Haveli. The food was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend not just the restaurant but also the takeaway as we have done so in the past. Only concern we had was that we couldn't receive a reception on our phone's to book a taxi as apparently it's a common problem in the area. Luckily for us, the owners son was a taxi driver too and gave us a lift to our next destination. Very much appreciated to you

Visited for the first time with my friends on Friday evening. A beautiful modern restaurant with staff who were so friendly. The food was amazing, really generous portions, so tasty and well presented. Will definitely be back soon 😍

Cannot fault this restaurant. My first time visting tonight.

The staff were fanstatsic with my children and very attentive to our table. The restaurant was clean, it had a nice atmosphere and well decorated. Most importantly the food was excellent and fairly priced.

We used to dine at Le Raaj in Chester Le Street for Indian food, but the prices became astronomical! So we decided to look elsewhere.

Tried here on recommendation and so pleased we did, it was easily the best curry (better than Le Raaj) I have had in a long time. We will be returning very soon, of that I have no doubt.

My daughters said "it was the best restaurant I have been too", word for word, they loved it.

We now have another restaurant to dine as a family.

I would highly recommend!!

The food was absolutely beautiful. Hot and arrived very quickly after placing our order. We were in a large group and honestly the staff couldn't have been more attentive.

30Jul22 First time visitors and thoroughly enjoyed all the food here! Went with recommendation from staff member, plus Chef Special. Food was some of the best we've had in the North East and will definitely be visiting again. The serving team were all really helpful and great to chat to.

Cannot fault anything. Beautifully done out, really pleasant staff and sublime food. 1st time in the restaurant after having a couple of takeaways. Everything cooked fresh. Didnt want it to end. Superb.

I just want to say how amazing this Indian restaurant is. It is hands down the best I have ever been to. The food was outstanding and the staff could not have done enough for our party of 7. So attentive and nothing was ever a problem. Shuheb Miah you and your team should be so proud of such an amazing establishment. You are such a gentleman and I really want to thank you for letting us enjoy your amazing food and restaurant. Again thank you so much on behalf of me and my family, it was lovely to see after 12 years. We will be back very soon ☺

The best Indian restaurant in the North East. The food is absolutely gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The Hariali was delicious as was the other curry, rice and side dish. The peshwari naan breads were lovely and soft and full of the perfect sweet filling. Hands down the best Indian meal I've had in years, I can't wait to go again!

Great restaurant, staff are very attentive. Food is absolutely amazing. Excellent Menu. It's not a big restaurant but it's very inviting. Would recommend the Onion bhaji and the Lamb Sabsi Bahar, tasty.

We ordered our food at 17:30 it arrived at 18:15, excellent service considering we live in Washington. The food was fantastic, excellent quality of ingredients creating an authentic Indian meal you would expect from a top class establishment. We had a thoroughly enjoyable "night out in"...
