Lovely food, staff were very helpful and attentive, nice atmosphere

10/10 for all aspects at Le Raaj. We visited again last night to celebrate the birth of our second daughter. The staff were more than accommodating in meeting the needs of my grandmother who has dementia and will only eat certain foods. The staff also went out of their way with our 6 year old and included her in conversation. The food is always amazing, served in good time and presentation is fantastic. Rez and the team are so welcoming and we look forward to another visit soon.

We have been meaning to visit here for a while after hearing good reviews and weren`t disappointed. The atmosphere was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic! We loved the sizzling meats platter - very yummy. We will be returning!

Really enjoyed our lamb curries and extras. Good size portions and piping hot when served. Friendly cheerful staff. It's a clean and posh place suitable for special occasions. We will definately be back soon to try more dishes. Prices a bit high though.

Absolutely unreal best food in a long time excellent staff

Absolutely amazing!!! Food, service, atmosphere was top notch. Staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them. Loved the hot towel after our meal and complimentary drinks. The vindaloo if you like it spicy is amazing and the cheese naan is the best naan bread I've ever had. Gun powder chips are also a winner aswell. Don't have a bad word to say, everything was faultless. Will 1 million percent be returning. One very happy customer.

Most amazing meal tonight, curried fish with spinach. Best curry I have every tried.

Great place! Friendly staff, Great food! Came here with my girlfriend after passing by it so many times on my commute home and wasn't disappointed.

The place oozes class yet we turned up in casual dress wear and were made to feel so welcomed by the staff. The starter of pickles, chilli, sauces and poppadoms was bursting with flavours and the main lamb madras I had was to die for! My girlfriend had a prawn curry dish and we were sharing everything just because the dishes were lush & didn't want to miss the opportunity to try them all.

Plenty of vegetarian options too and Cobra was the choice of non alcoholics available. I had a nice large red wine which was great tasting and really complimented the curry.

Our waiter was excellent and had a good chat between us all making us feel warmly at home. It was a Monday we arrived and hadn't booked a table but place was fairly busy even for a start of the working week with a nice selection of people in there.

Definitely returning here again and glad we finally decided to pull in and try the restaurant after driving by so many times, a hidden gem & highly recommend.

Visited Le Raaj with my boyfriend for a lovely date night 22/04/2023. Restaurant was selected purely because I liked the look of the decor/styling of the place & I had read a lot of really good reviews from other diners...

Let me just say that I am very pleased we picked this beautiful restaurant! The staff are fantastic, the food is absolutely delicious & the decor is gorgeous. From entering the building, to dining, to leaving, every single member of staff we encountered were polite, courteous, outgoing, friendly & helpful. From the bar staff to the waiting staff right up to Rez the owner of the restaurant who was also on service during our visit.
Never have I been to a restaurant where the owner is very much a big part of the day to day service, nor have I ever been personally approached or conversed with an owner like we had here. Rez really adds a very personal touch to the dining experience at Le Raaj. He's a very chatty down to earth guy who clearly takes great pride in his restaurant/business & making sure his diners have a lovely memorable experience.

Our meal was absolutely beautiful, could not fault a single thing about it. Portions are amazing, you really get what you pay for! Meats/prawns cooked perfectly & the flavours combined with all the spices & sauces are wonderful. Starters are presented beautifully & really made me hungry for my main which was absolutely delicious. Drinks were great too.

Starters: King Prawn Suka & Bhuna Prawn on puree.
Mains: Chicken Tikka Dupiaza & Chicken Bhuna both with Pilau Rice.
Sides: Chips, Peshwari Nan & Popadoms.

What a fabulous restaurant. I went here while visiting my grandparents and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They made excellent recommendations for us all and made sure we all had food we would like. We will definitely be back.

Had a family meal the whole experience was awesome,the food sublime the ambience perfect and the staff wonderful.One small criticism was the service was a little slow

Once again a fabulous meal at Le Raaj. The service is always on point with friendly and polite staff. The food is delicious and you can always rely on the food standard being consistent. Never had a bad meal there and will certainly be going back.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have had the pleasure to eat at. Food was outstanding, even the side dishes were tasty and excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. Yes it is a little more expensive but well worth it.

Fantastic experience today at le raaj. Went to pick up some bbq packs, very impressed, looked and tasted tremendous. Both the kids got a j20 each on the house while we waited. Staff were amazing and more importantly so was the food!

The food at the Le Raaj is outstanding. Every time I'm in the area I go to this restaurant. On entering the restaurant there are hand sanitiser and you have to have your temperature checked. The restaurant is very clean. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There are roll up clear plastic screens between each table so it's like you are in a separate booth from other diners. For starters we had goan kekada- panko crumb fried soft shell crab and the most enormous but crispy extraordinary onion bahji with red onions, fresh spinach, wild garlic and yellow lentils. For mains we shared a pilau rice and a coconut packed peshwari nan bread. Hariali - chicken breast marinated with garlic, ginger, green chilli. And my favourite Indian dish ever chicken badami. Chicken cooked in a creamy sauce with ground roasted cashew nuts and nut powder. Just delicious. We were given a complimentary glass of wine each. Hot towels and an orange chocolate with the bill. We will definitely be back. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Me, my partner and friends have been tonight and it was absolutely gorgeous. Very attentive staff, very friendly .... just lovely. The meals were fantastic, overall amazing 👏 😋 😍 Will be back for sure!! Well recommend! 👌

Le Raaj continues to serve fantastic food in a great atmosphere. The choices are plentiful and interesting, the staff extremely good and the speed of service perfect. I'd never hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone
