Situated on the promenade nice life size bronze statue of the comedian with some of his catchphrases in the pavement down a few steps. Good resemblance to Eric and is very popular for photographs .

Beautiful sunshine 🌞 which was a lovely starter. It was a lush stroll along the seafront and to the end of the dock/pier (only way to explain that part) went there for a weekend get out of the house trip. Visited it with family members who know the area. There were many shops/stalls to pick from if you're feeling peckish or thirsty. The beach itself wasn't too busy at the time of our visit. I had a love chippy brunch and couldn't fault the parking either as there was ample parking where we parked up to.

Just had to be done. Lovely setting and wonderful sunset that evening...

Nice quiet visit to a very quiet morcambe there's tons of shops boarded up on the front ,but better cleaner than blackpool

First ever visit absolutely loved it, so clean & pretty. Lucky for us it was a sunny day 👍 shop side it's like anywhere else unfortunately, lots of shops closed but they still had some open. (Thanks COVID 😠) we're already planning a wkend stay over 😉

I'm biased, but if anyone deserved a statue it's the comic legend Eric Morecambe, and what better place to see it then on the sea front of Morecambe bay.

A tasteful monument to one of the UK'S all time great comedians surrounded by his most famous sayings. If you are in Morecambe you have to visit the great man's tribute.

A must see uplifting statue of this great comedian in a great location with " catch phrases " engraved in the stone walkway . Marvellous !

Only come to morecambe once in a while. The seafront has changed for the best. It was very nice to walk along the front down the promenade. There was a small fair ground on which wasn’t busy. You pay for the rides when you get on them. There were various ice cream van situated around the front in case you missed on and decided to treat the children.

It's a great statue I would like to see a statue of Ernie wise next to Eric

Bringing sunshine to all passing and seeing this statue of Morecambe's great comedian, as they walk along the prom. A great photo opportunity to dance along with Eric. There's also many of the famous phrases and golden moments of Eric and Ernie, recorded in words laid into the pavement in front. One of the many delights that you come across as you stroll along the fabulous promenade.
Bum, ooh, ya tat a ta! "I'm playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right places."

Great food and service. Lovely setting, Hotel /(Inn) dates back to 1660 and has been tastefully refurbished after being gutted by fire some years ago.

Re-launched Morecambe when Queen Elizabeth ll unveiled this statue of hers and many people favourite comedian of all time. When we went we went around the corner and had a lovely drink in the newly refurbished Bath Taps, a fantastic day

I've always wanted to have my photo taken here, so it was a great place to stop en route to Sussex from Scotland! Great place for a seaside stroll, paddle and ice cream!

Loved walking along the promenade, pick up a guide there's a easy trail to follow. Took my mum all along it in a wheelchair chair. Eric is a long the promenade . free parking on side of road. Loved the bird theme and sculptures etc... who ever did it has done a good job.

A classic English icon, comedian and gentle man. People travel miles to see this wonderful tribute to one of our finest comedians.

This very well made statue is a fitting tribute to the man, having a real sense of fun and lightheartedness. It is well placed in Morecambe and clearly popular amongst visitors who seemed very keen to have their photos taken standing alongside Eric's figure. In a pleasant garden and seaside setting.
