Morecambe Promenade

Nice place to walk the dogs,even though you can't take them on the beach in the summer months.
It was nice to take a stroll having a coffee along the front. Most people are friendly and the views are amazing .
Parking can be a bit hit and miss due to the amount of camper vans that were there staying long term.
Nevertheless I will be going back with the dogs as I enjoyed it.

A beautiful empty beach with great parking. No problem finding a parking space along the front, got there and took this pic, yes the tide was out, but we still had a great time playing with the sand and waiting for the tide to come in, then spent a good amount of time in the clear water. This was a great day out for us, weather was in the high 20's so we couldn't understand the empty beach but it was good for us.

A beautiful place to walk from Bare to Heysham. Flat all the way so perfect for buggies and those with limited mobility. Views across Morecambe Bay to the Lake District are spectacular and ever changing.

Excellent place for or moving other walking ,running cycling .
Of course after so much move you may want to drink is it find, you may be hungry is easy to find...
Or if you just love the time the place is perfect for chasing the time sunset, sunrise, moon, high tide, etc. So if you have time perfect place to spend it...
If you are birds fan, depending on the season you may know better than me, here 😁...
If you enjoy fishing you may come and try your luck

Hello guys so i like it its very different from CITY LIFE or City's like Manchster Birmingham or London.

You have once to go there for a WE and see it for yourself.

Best Book a Hotel or what i do a AirBnB for 2 or 3 days and then you can see everything from Top to Bottom & Head to Tor ;-) 😉

What i Noticed people was very friendly & helpful or maybe my Vibe's was good that Day but have a GO for Yourself

I love this Promenade. It's wide, set back from the road and has flood protection incorporated. Fantastic views across to the Cumbrian mountains and the coastal towns. Always different. Plenty of eateries along it's length, jept clean and litter free ideal for running, cycling, walking with or without a dog. Plenty of benches to take a breather on.

Great for dog walking, never too busy, half moon bay walk to heysham and around the headland and back along the promenade , then fish and chips from atkinsons, you cannot beat it

Really nice place, really clean, good arcades, fun fair and food market was very good. Really good day out with the family.

Wonderful sunsets with a real ale micropub and excellent greek restaurant nearby..booking advised.

Nice place. They are steadily improving the town. Yes a couple of stretches could be better. Lovely walk with great view over to The Lakes.

Lively sea front very clean and well kept. Plenty of parking and not too expensive. We called on way back from the Lakes so was a pleasant way to break the journey.

Morcome has a lovely promenade to walk along plenty seating too if you want to watch the world go by. Have an ice cream from the kiosk at the clock tower. The public toilets which were clean 'enough given the amount of people on the promenade that day, are here too 20p for access.

Great promenade nice and wide and spacious , with spectacular views of Morecambe Bay, nice views in all weathers.

Beautiful scenery some nice places to visit, sunsets are amazing and beautiful strolls and places to walk, plenty of shops and locals are very friendly and always keen to lend a helping hand ...

Fantastic place to walk along the promenade, enjoy the seaside & views of the Lakeland fells. Walk on the beach in the sunshine or enjoy a hot drink in the Cafe if it rains

Lovely walk. Lots of seats if needed a rest . Lovely views of Lakeland Hills across the bay .

Cycled from Heysham village through Morecambe bay as far as the promenade allows. Very clean, wide open prom most of the way. Excellent.

Probably the best prom and the bird themed Stone Jetty in the uk; as i've walked along all from Lands End to John O Groats. Around 4000 miles

Came here on holiday and how lovely it was, very clean and a lovely beach and sea. Wasn't overally busy so was able to sit and relax, there was a ice cream van for refreshments and toilets nearby. Would come back again
