Just returned from 6 nights at Heathland Beach in our tourer caravan. Already booked to go back in September.

Lovely campsite. Great sized pitches. One tap on each pitch which is great for convenience. Nice hedges to make your pitch feel private.

The outdoor swimming pools were amazing to have. You have to book your 1 hour slot for that day each morning with the life guards. We all loved the slide. Lovely little pool for toddlers & babies. All pools were warm & clean.

The bar/clubhouse was lovely, decorated tastefully. Great selection of drinks. They serve simple hot food, burgers/hot dogs/pizzas & paninis. These can take a little while to be served - not sure if this is down to low staff numbers, it felt like one person was trying to work the bar & the kitchen.

There are shower facilities at both ends of the campsite. Both facilities were clean. The showers were lovely and warm. Hairdryers on the wall too.

There is a HUGE list of Just Eat food delivery options and Morrisons supermarket is 5 minutes away. We used this a lot!

Every member of staff we met were super friendly and helpful. There was a lady on the reception desk (didn’t catch her name) but she was amazing. She was so helpful in arranging that my brother & his family could pitch up near us for the weekend so that we could enjoy our evenings outside together once the children were asleep.

It is quite a walk to the beach. Down a steep set of steps. (82 - I counted) I would say with little children it takes 15 minutes to walk to the beach near the campsite.

The only negative (which isn’t really a negative more of a personal preference) is that I would love for there to be a fence around the fishing lake. The lake is situated quite close to the children’s play area & football field. I felt nervous letting the children go off to play when there is an open water area close by. A gated fence would be a great addition for peace of mind for young families.

All in all we LOVED our stay & cannot wait to return next month.

I wouldn't normally bother writing a review for a holiday camp but after spending a couple of days hear I feel I owe it to them. The location and facilities are superb: showers clean, great bar etc. Buy it is the staff here that make the place what it is: they are brilliant. From the receptionist to the bar staff, they can't do enough for you, and bend over backwards to make the guests happy. 10/10 I will be back soon

Great campsite. Huge flat pitches with easy access to water and EHU. Touring facilities are lovely and clean, shower rooms with toilet & sink all in one room. Cleaned regularly. 2 play areas on site. Huge beach to walk along only 2 mins from site. Restaurant and bar open daily serving lovely food and drinks hot and cold. Easter egg hunt and activities for the kids was great. All the staff are amazing, went above and beyond to make our stay lovely. Big thank you to Chris, Nikki, Courtney, Hayley and all the other staff that we spoke to over the Easter weekend. We will be back in the summer to use the pool this time. Very child friendly and safe for them riding their bikes around. Dog friendly too, dogs allowed almost everywhere (bar included).
Thank you.

The Hollies is an excellent low cost camping experience. Great facilities and in general, well looked after and patrolled by staff. Friendly staff really make the stay, compared to the typical terraced camping, The Hollies has spacious pitches and local services always within reach. Been coming here for years and years now, the dog friendly and firepit friendly site is a hit for our family.

We love visiting Heathland Beach and have been regular holiday makers here for several years. We enjoy socialising with the many friends we have met along the way.
This year was slightly spoilt for us by the children running around the campsite very late at night disturbing families and upsetting for their animals. No sign of anyone who is monitoring the site ....several times us on the touring pitch had to go out and speak to large crowds of children who could not keep the noise down.
Such a shame

Second time of visiting with two pitches/families. The facilities are great and the ability to have a shower in an individual wet room really makes all the difference. All kept very clean. Pool is great with a waterslide and there are two pool tables and a bar. The whole site is very picturesque and I really have no complaints at all. Morrisons is nearby. Beach is lovely too. 100% bonafide!!!

Best campsite I've been in 30 years of touring. Loos and shower block 1st class. Jackie doing a 1st class job.

Had a lovely few days camping here. Great toilets and showers, beautifully clean. Only a short walk to the beach down some steep steps, great workout for the thighs on the climb back up!! Who needs a Gym!!! Well worth the effort 😊
Sunrises were just Beautiful. ☀👍❤

This caravan park is absolutely great. Clean and tidy, beautifully planted up lots of facilities for families with children, tennis courts, fishing lake, dog walks.Close to a bus stop and local shops.
March 2021- Having read a lot of reviews recently from the 2020 season, I was struck by one comment regarding dogs of a 'certain breed'. As a caravan owner on this site for several years, I agree entirely with Heathland Beach owners comments regarding the complaint. This is a lovely place to spend holidays and the sound of happy children is wonderful.

Arrived during heatwave, site was very quiet. Well equipped pitch, albeit no drainage. Short walk to expansive quiet beach. Our hound loved it. Nothing to complain about.

We've been here on and off for the past 12 years. Great for the family and dog. Beach, fishing lake swimming pool, shop and bar.
The pitches are massive and have electric hook up, TV aerial and water. Toilets and showers are always clean.
Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Spent 6 nights camping in a six man tent. Beautiful location ideal for exploring local area. Excellent facilities including heated outdoor pool made even better by superb weather whilst we were there! Spotless toilet blocks and 5 minutes stroll to the beach. Would definitely go again!

Fantastic site. Beautifully kept spotlessly clean. Great pool and loads of outdoor space. Beach is a short walk away from the Caravan park. There is a clubhouse that serves drinks and has some entertainment too. Lowestoft is a short drive or you can walk along the beach.

We've stayed at lots of campsites but this one is another level. 5 minutes from pontins. Half the price and ten times the quality!! 5 minutes walk from the beach. 5 mins from aldi and Morrisons yet lovely and secluded. Awesome playparks on site and a fantastic swimming pool/pools with no ridiculous opening times. Even at it's busiest there was plenty of room ! The tent pitches are a really generous size with power and water on the pitch itself. We had an 8 man tent, gazebo, car, and still had loads of room for the kids to play. Toilets and showers are really clean and washing up facilities are generous. There are play parks and sand pits onsite and the shop is normal shop prices without a huge mark up. There is a clubhouse which is quite close but far enough away as to not disturb the peace. There is also a fishing lake onsite. I could go on all day but I honestly really can't find anything bad to say about this place. Here for a week and honestly finding it hard to find a reason to go offsite ! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I can't comment on the static caravans but from the outside they look clean and fresh. Out of the numerous sites I've stayed at this is by far the best.

This place is superb, everything you could ever need for a family camping trip, the facilities are superb, clean and well equipped, the pool was a welcome treat in the heat! The beach is a 5 min walk away and even though it is not a sandy one it is very nice and quiet for an evening walk. This was our first trip here but will not be our last

Lovely friendly campsite, swimming pool and play areas are great for the children. Shower blocks are spotlessly clean. The new trim trail is very good too. We visit every year.
