Having been here a couple of weeks ago to enjoy an excellent mid-week Carvery, we thought we would try the 'Breakfast Carvery' - available on Thurs/Fri/Sat - until 11.00am. I was a little worried having checked the website first only to see the stated opening times were 12.00 each day! Ignore - the website is going to be updated. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely welcome and shown to a table. Having chosen how we would like our eggs cooked, it was only a short wait until we were called to the 'carvery'. Our plates were ready, with eggs as ordered, and another plate of toast & butter. On offer was everything you could possibly want for a traditional British Breakfast. In carvery fashion, you could select and help yourself to exactly what you wanted - no limit, and the quality was exceptional. Certainly one of the best breakfast's I have had and fantastic value. Overall, a lovely pub environment, extremely welcoming and friendly Staff and above all, great food and value. Cannot recommend enough. We will certainly be back.

Wonderful family lunch. 3 carvery which was served with generous portions of meat and no small slivers often served in carveries! 1 vegetarian option of mushroom pie, served with a separate vegetarian gravy boat.
The desert menu was excellent but none of us could mange it this time round!

Went for carvery on Easter Sunday and was not disappointed, carvery had a good range of meat and vegiterian options, as well as a really good range of vegetables. All of it was hot and looked / tasted fresh.

The kids menu had enough on it to feed the kids and they were happy.

While we did not eat off the standard menu we did look at it and it had a good range of options all along the lines of what you would expect of a gastro pub.

We will go back and try the normal menu although a mid week car wry is offered.

We were a large party with different ages. Some had carvery and others chose from the menu. All the food was eaten at the same time. Good service from staff. Have always liked this pub. Never fails to give a good meal in enjoyable surroundings

WOULD COME AGAIN!
AND HAVE BEEN AGAIN! Came with some friends tonight we had a sirloin steak, bbq ribs, the plough burger.
Everyone mentioned how good the chips were I was overall impressed with the food just felt my burger bun was over done for most of the company's liking, and our sticky toffee puddings were very wet with little resistance to movement.
Overall tastes great and was please with the service given and promptly served, not long of a waiting time.

I go to the Ploughon my way home from work mainly. It is always a great atmosphere with quite a few characters. The beer is always excellent and bar staff amazing with especially the Landladywith her sense of humour. She keeps a good house which is always very clean and tidy which goes along way. There a price war in the Catshill area and unfortunately Beth’s hands are tide but most regulars still go and support her because it is a good house.
MT PS I have not eaten at the Plough.

Great food and service. We had lunch with family and also went to the carvery breakfast as a couple. Both times the staff were so accommodating, especially as I'm strictly gluten free. Would highly recommend and a huge thank you to the kitchen staff!

A friend and I wanted to try somewhere new for a change, so decided to try The Plough & Harrow at Drake's Broughton. We both had a carvery they gave a choice of 3 sizes small, medium or large we both had medium. There were 3 choices of meat which was ok, but very disappointed with the choice of not many different vegetables. So after the disappointment of the carvery we decided to try a dessert which also turned out to be a disappointment. The place itself was lovely.
