The lake is in a beautiful location. The pegs and facilities are some of the best I've seen. Tim and Jo are very friendly and helpful with tips on the fishing tactics (thanks Tim for helping me move all my heavy gear) Look forward to returning very soon.

First visit here, friendly owners, immaculate pegs and banks, great facilities.
Weather was bad on my visit but managed 1 mid double common in hard conditions, will be visiting again soon. Second visit for a short day session, in better weather conditions, resulted in more on the bank :)

I spent a day at Gweryd Lakes just on a day ticket. The location is great and the overall setup with easy access to the swims and other facilities are some of the best I have seen. The owners were first rate, providing advice and making sure I had the best use of my time. I ended up with a decent catch about every hour with some quality carp using PVA mesh on one rig and a method feeder on another - captures on both. Highly recommended as a venue that provides great fishing in a stunning setting with the facilities to match.

We did one night fishing here, Tim & Johanna made us feel very welcome and the location is beautiful! I tagged along as a guest, the facilities are more than adequate and they're clean. Would love to go back.

Wanted somewhere to camp for a couple of nights whilst mountain biking in North Wales. Stumbled on this place. Have nothing but praise during our stay. Extremely friendly couple who run the facility. Everything is so well maintained, clean toilets and showers which have hot water all day and night. Kitchen facilities all clean and everything you need to camp or fish. Perfect location unbelievable hidden beauty and will definitely be back.

A really nice place to enjoy the silence and beauty of the surrounding landscape. Was hiking on the Offa's Dyke Path and looking for a place to pitch my tent. Tim and Johanna were brilliant and really welcoming. The facilities were great, too.
Thanks a lot I really appreciated it!
Can't say anything about the fishing but people seemed to enjoy their time there as well.

What an absolutely stunning place. No fish caught by myself on a day session few knocks 2 runs lost both. On arrival I was greeted by the owner may I say what an honest polite gent he is and his wife a very pleasant lady. I will certainly be going back there to fish in this stunning lake and majestic scenery.

Great place to fish, the new owners have spent a lot of time and money on this fishery there are showers , toilets and a small kitchen facility. It is predominantly a carp lake but does have good sholes of bream, perch at good sizes and other silver fish. No fishing with light line as carp is the predominant species there has been a lot of idiots using light line and having snap offs leaving the fish with the hook still in. I can understand why the owners are concerned about this especially for the well being of the fish. It's reasonably priced I think for such an idillic spot. You can drive your car to your chosen peg, unload and then park in the car parking areas around the lake. I had a great time fishing there and will be going again for sure

A really well managed fishery- a great place to go if you like nature, the wild and appreciate the getting away from 'the rat race' aspect of fishing- regular catches of carp, tench and bream of a good size in a beautiful setting
