Lovely cafe with friendly staff and delicious food. We had coffee and cakes. As we were the first cake customers of the day they gave us the end bits in addition to the generous slices for free. Coffee was also nice and reasonably priced. Lots of seating inside and out. Dog friendly and great views.

"Absolutely love Wavecrest Cafe! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit a delight. Plus, it's a dog-friendly spot, which is very handy when coming back from a walk or the beach. The food is not only tasty but also generously portioned. Highly recommend trying their ploughman platter.

I have been coming here for many years and it simply just keeps getting better.
Excellent coffee and very delicious cake (especially the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake!), always served with a smile.
Good range of ice cream too!

We were walk-ins, not expecting such a classy/foodie establishment for a beach cafe. However we managed to get an indoor table on this very windy day. The staff were incredibly helpful & friendly. The wait for food was 20mins (which seemed very reasonable given the circumstances), our drinks were brought immediately. We had a children’s lunch box, and two “specials” the crab sandwiches and the Mediterranean veg platter. All beautifully presented. We all cleared our plates/box. Very satisfied. Delighted. Cafe has great views and atmosphere and excellent food.

What can I say, my sister brings her dog here to the beach beside Wavecrest. I visited a few weeks ago Angle, was over for the weekend.
We dropped into the Wavecrest for a latte and some ginger cake....wow, the ginger cake is delicious, they gave me 2 generous slices. We returned for seconds the next day and had the carrot cake this time.

Lovely little place, my brother in law has some of his wooden artwork available to buy there. One off designs. Check them out when you drop in for some home made cakes... 5 stars

We found this cafe by accident while we were on our travels.
We decided to grab a bite to eat. The inside seating area was full unfortunately but the staff were, friendly and helpful and suggested we could takeaway or eat on one of the many outdoor picnic benches.

We decided to take away and sit on the beach ( we always have two camping chairs with us ) it was a beautiful day in June so we had a prawn baguette and a brie and bacon baguette. Both came with lovely unusual accompaniments and were super tasty. We paid just under £17 for the two which was great for what you got.
Check out this gem if you are in the area!!

What an absolute gem the Wavecrest cafe is. Set in an idyllic location, The staff were welcoming and friendly, the coffee delicious and the carrot cake was like a large slice of heaven. I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to carrot cake and theirs was without doubt the best I've ever had, try it yourself, you wont be disappointed. Best of all, the prices, will not break the bank. Thank you all at Wavecrest

Just love this cafe and the setting of West Angle Bay, It has become a firm favourite for a treat after and hour exercising the dogs on this beautiful cove. The prices are reasonable and the menu is lovely catering for vegetarian and gluten free. There are outdoor picnic benches if you are with your dogs and indoor seating if the weather changes. I can recommend the tuna jacket, apricot crumble slice and bara brith, served with local shergar butter. When I ordered this I was served with two slices because it was the end of the loaf. Lovely service and a beautiful surroundings.

We turned up for the first time this week as we are on holiday and visited angle for the time. The queue was to the door as they had a walking group in with reserved tables. The queue went down really fast and the service with a smile and food was unreal. Highly recommended the key lime 👌 10/10. Will be back again next year.

Another splendiferous sumptuous lunch here for a super special occasion!
Fathers Day! My Dad, he's now in his 80th year and struggles with his appetite. The Fathers Day ploughman's lunch was just the ticket! Lots of tasty treats on a platter. Followed by a sumptuous white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake! Heaven!
Mam and I were treated to coeliac heaven on a platter - do many tasty bites and all gluten free.
The cafe is family run and it shows - they remember you, your favorite dishes etc and go the extra mile in delivering a service and celebration of food you'll always remember for the right reasons.
Am so grateful this place is on our doorstep but would happily travel to get here.
Thank you once again for a meal in a million ladies 👏

Decided to visit here as somewhere different of a weekend. A very blustery day, so glad of the warmth of the Café. We booked a table just in case. Food was served promptly, well presented and just as nice. Portion size was spot on. Our three boys really enjoyed the desserts!! Banoffee pie was super!
Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere made for a really enjoyable visit and somewhere where we will return.
