Glandwr Butchers

We have used Derek and the team at Glandwr Butchers each time we visit Anglesey. Every time the service and the food is excellent. I can't recommend them enough. The last few times we have picked up a BBQ pack (4 burgers, 4 pork steaks, 4 kebab's and a dozen sausages) which is great value and far better than picking up a few bits at the local Tesco!

Quality meats at reasonable prices and derek will always go out of his way to get you what you need. Also great for christmas orders

Amazing butchers shop! We’re on holiday and always like to support the local butchers. Stopped for a few items and we were WOWed! Our previous top butcher whilst on our travels was one on the Black Isle in Scotland but this is now our favourite. We had fillet steak (oh boy was that good!), chicken garlic kebabs (amazing), sausages (gorgeous) and chicken Kiev (not tried yet but look huge and lovely). Try this shop - you will not be disappointed. And the lovely gentlemen who served me was so friendly and knowledgeable.

During one of our frequent visits to the island we bought the Pepper & Black Garlic chicken kebabs from Glandwr Butchers and I have to say we were not disappointed. Very tasty

Had a long weekend way with a BBQ on the Saturday. Had 3 different flavoured chicken kebabs and mix of beef / lamb burger. Everything tasted fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Bought some hog roast sausage 2 ribeye steaks and chicken Kiev. Everything top notch. Will use again if ever in the area. 2 jolly owners as well

I'm so lucky to have this as my local butchers. Superb local lamb from owners own farm, excellent beef from the Conwy Valley , home cured bacon and homemade sausages all excellent. For those a little more adventurous they are happy to supply whole rabbits, pheasant legs for confit Ox cheeks for braising etc.

Just like to say a HUGE thanks to the team for helping me out delivering my favorite chicken fillets, individually wrapped ready for the freezer, during yet another lock down! Amazing, tasty meat and would 100% recommend this butcher. Thanks guys!

An absolutely extraordinary butcher, who sets a standard that is unmatched, either in Angelsey or my hometown Manchester. Its not only the quality, but the variety of meats on offer. In no specific order - the fresh chicken kebabs, various flavours - Kiev, Italian, Greek, Orange etc. Koftas are resteraunt quality! The burgers are handmade and even my "snobby, never eat a burger friends' love them!! The bacon is home cured and sensational (its what the local top rated cafe use for their top rated bacon barm!) All the meats are excellent and I've just cooked two brilliant T-bones. 1. You have to try this place 2. You'll need a big freezer if you dont live in Angelsey!!

Based on the reviews we decided on the kebabs and we weren't disappointed. Bacon and sausage also excellent. Highly recommend.

Excellent local produce. Great cuts of meat at good prices. Advice on cooking from great staff. Lovely fresh eggs, free range and local.
