Okopod - Garden Rooms

We had our lovely Okopod installed one year ago this week.
My partner is an audio artist and the pod is used as a recording space and extra room.
Our garden is narrow so we opted for a 2.8m x 2.8 m Pod that was built onsite by the excellent team.
The main priority of the build (apart from being aesthetically pleasing) was the soundproofing.
We opted for the acoustic glass, the soundproof plasterboard behind the wood panels and under the floor, we also went for the sedum roof which is great. The outcome was a fantastic with a perfect workspace which is cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with the Wifi heater.
Guest love staying in the pod it really has added another room to the house.
What impressed me about the installation was the way the team were able to build the perfect pod in the tiny space and adapt as the build was going on to suit our needs.
I would highly recommend Okopod if you are looking for a professional outfit who use the best materials where no corners are cut to produce a fine finish.

Beautiful garden office, fantastic company
My Okopod was installed April 2022 and it is weathering beautifully in my garden - I love. I use it for a home office with hidden shed storage. Working from the garden in the quality of the Okopod is fantastic. The team at Okopod are great to work with - from initial enquiry through build (from nothing to complete in 2 days was crazy!) to after care, the team have been faultless. Can’t recommend highly enough.

James and his crew were brilliant throughout the whole building process. He designed the best Okopod that fit perfectly in the garden. The materials are high end and has weathered nicely. The build was super quick and professional. Highly recommended!

I got an extension for my house to give my daughters a nice playroom and we are so happy with the new space. Just had my Okopod installed so that I can finally move out of an upstairs bedroom which I’ve had as an office. Day one in the office today and I couldn’t be happier. Rapid install (4 days in total) with a variety of efficient and polite installers. Would highly recommend. I’m already looking forward to going back to work tomorrow!

We've just finished our Okoextension project with Okopod and we couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish it's been an incredibly positive experience. Any little hiccups along the way were tackled with efficiency and positivity and the on-site team were a pleasure to deal with. We looked at a few different options for our extension but we're so pleased we decided to work with Okopod.

James, Mark and the team created something truly special for us; it's transformed our home in SW London. From the outset the team fielded multiple emails, phone calls and questions as we tweaked and adjusted the design to perfectly fit the space we had available.

Throughout the process running up the build they were brilliantly communicative, particularly Founder James, who was more than happy to share ideas over Whatsapp, great for a 'particular' client like myself...

The team juggled other builds around, to fit us in between weather conditions. On site, they were rapid but careful as everything took shape. The team of electricians they worked with took time and care to work in the main house, which has a tricky layout to route power through.

When on site, Mark who was overseeing the build, had meticulous attention to detail. We agreed something wasn't quite right with the lighting setup, so Mark had the team quickly reconfigured things. As you can see from the photos, we're left with a very premium product for a fair and transparent price.

Can't recommend the team enough and am already loving working from the Pod, which has stood the test of the winter temps!

There are a lot of options out there for high quality outbuildings. Here's why you should go with Okopod.
1) Design process - super clear, super flexible, no ridiculous bundling of options or ridiculous markups
2) Build process - I have never seen anyone work as hard as the Okopod build team during our install. Long days, no shirking! If you think you work hard, wait till you see these guys.
3) Quality - our pod has been in situ for three years now, is weathering beautifully, and everything feels and works as well as it did when it was new.
4) Aftercare - snagging is an inevitable part of any build. What is not inevitable is working with a company who really care and keep going until they have delivered exactly what you want. Okopod do; they are absolutely relentless at making sure things are right.

Very pleased with our Okopod - fantastic end product and bespoke design. We had a couple of snagging issues, but the Okopod team were excellent in getting those sorted. The team of guys installing are nice and very communicative.

Cannot recommend this company enough. I heavily research options before taking the plunge, and looked at a fair few companies before deciding to go with Okopod for our garden office - I am so glad I did.

We live in a listed building in a conservation area, and - knowing from past experience what a nightmare our planning department are - I used Okopod's service to handle the application for us. That side was (as expected) a total nightmare, but Dom was fantastic and super communicative whilst we were navigating the permission.

Okopod expedited our pod because the planning had taken so long, and went over and above in all aspects. Within a couple of weeks we had our pod being craned into our tight garden space, and hooked up within the same day.

They even accommodated last minute tweaks and questions, and the men who came to install were really lovely and friendly.

It's only been a few weeks but we already can't imagine wfh life without our pod!

From start to finish with initial consultations, design etc. I was most impressed however with how the team worked on the ground. I shopped around every decent looking garden room supplier in the UK for our new garden home studio building, then someone recommended Okopod and I immediately noticed they were different from the others.
Their pre-sale support and attention to detail when quoting was really helpful. Everything was clear, fair and professionally communicated. The whole process was carefully considered and all inclusive to deliver a fully completed, immediately useable space - Start finish it took 3.5 days to install (7.4 x 3.6m!).
Building materials were high-quality and the insulation works really well.

James and the team were excellent. Before I settled on Okopod i researched the market and debated on going for some of the cheaper alternatives but i am glad i didnt. The quality of the build is exceptional and the level of service I received was second to none. The Pod was up in a couple of days in a tricky place to install and the end result is fantastic. I also had a few issues with planning that the team were able to sort for me. They were always available for me during the build and also afterwards. We can't recommend OKOPOD enough. James and team were great from start to finish.

Being located in a conservation area we had some issues to overcome. James supported us with this from the beggining.

We discussed designs on several occasions and no question was too small. We were expecting our first born and the team worked with us in a short time frame to install the pod prior to our babies arrival.

The product itself looks fantastic. We opted for the cedar cladding with anthracite windows and a sedum roof. We love it and its gone down really well with our neighbours too.
