South House Alpacas Ltd

Rob and Amanda are the most welcoming hosts my wife and I have ever had the good fortune to meet.
The accommodation is luxurious and the ambiance of South House is perfect for complete relaxation. The live stock is fascinating and if you are a knitter the availability of the soft silky Alpaca Yards will be a bonus. Not only have Amanda and Rob produced yarns from their Alpacas but also a whole range of Alpaca products from pillows to duvets which we slept on and under in absolute warmth and comfort.
The breakfasts are to die for from their home produced bacon, sausages, eggs eaten in front of an open fire. If that is too rich fruits, yoghourts and home made apple juice are available. And the light evening meals we had were excellent.
We enjoyed our stay and will go back to South House. Thank you Rob and Amanda.

A great B&B in a calm area. The rooms are lovely, modern, without losing the history. With a great bathroom and lovely alpaca-wol pillows! The owners are the kindest people I've ever met in a hotel or B&B! Hope to go there again some day.
