The food was brilliant, the staff very helpful, advising what to order and how much, which made the experience very relaxing

What a wonderful find. A charming tapas restaurant tucked away through a cute courtyard. Lots of quaint areas to eat inside and outside.
Tapas were all lovely and generous portions.
Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Yet another fantastic meal here last night. The food is always fantastic and the service friendly and welcoming. For my partner and I, it’s our favourite local restaurant; every visit the food and service is always consistently top notch!

My sister and I went to dinner at the Old Bakery last night and it was brilliant. I'm a vegetarian and she isn't, but we got plenty of little bits to share and it was all delicious. I don't think the prices were bad. The service was good and it was really pretty inside, we would definitely go again! I particularly enjoyed the bean and beetroot salad.

Lovely tapas resturant in Kingsbridge, we drove the 15 minutes from Salcombe and it was 100% worth the trip! Parking is pretty easy in the town and this place is just a stones throw from the water. We had a variety of tapas dishes and a nice bottle of red. All were delightful and I really enjoyed the variety of flavours. Favourite dishes were the scallops, gambas and I personally alway love padron peppers. All in all very tasty and reasonable, a very flavoursome meal for 2, with drinks and tip for around £90.

Hidden gem, absolutely a must if your in the area , fantastic food and service , very friendly . My dog was also very welcome , cannot fault .

My first time at The Old Bakery. Lovely atmosphere and tables not packed in. This is a tapas type style of eating with dishes varying between £7 and £9.50 per dish. Servings were quite generous so budget for two dishes per person.
I chose calamari and Persian spiced lamb chops. We shared the patatas braves between the four of us. The menu catered well for veggies, pescatorians and meat eaters.
Wine list was very good and we went for an Argentinian Malbec.
The total bill for four including wine was £111.50 excluding service.
If wheelchair access is required, booking for the downstairs area is necessary. Toilets for disabled on the ground floor. Loos very clean.
Cutlery sparkling.Really impressed.

We dropped in unplanned with our young children after a busy day out, and were overwhelmed by what we found. Fantastic flavours, perfectly executed Persian / Mediterranean tapas. Everything from the artisan style bread served to start, through to the last bite was beautiful. We had a mix across the menu and everything was perfectly presented with amazing flavours. Would be a wonderful place to enjoy an evening out and savour the full experience. Very special food.

Excellent food and service. Sometimes with tapas, there ate things you eouldn't choose again. Not here. We all said we absolutely loved every dingle fish. Friendly, efficient service. Highly recommended. Interesting decor upstairs. Simple but atmospheric.

What a fabulous evening we had here for our daughter's birthday. The service was excellent and the staff helpful when we asked about the various dishes. The food is lovely.

My daughter has been here three times since the restaurant opened after lockdown ended. I think that speaks for itself about her enjoyment of the Old Bakery.

Had a lovely meal, different food and very tasty. We especially liked the halloumi saganaki.
