Valley View Cafe

Valley View Cafe is an absolutely stunning place. It's set in the beautiful South Hams countryside between Kingsbridge and Loddiswell. The food is so delicious and the staff are amazing. I would highly recommend visiting this place.

As a diabetic I needed food and quickly and chanced upon this, as it turns out, wonderful café. It's family run and a fantastic job they do too. Busy all the time with plenty of customers beit eating in or taking out, the food is delicious and the girls who wait are efficient, polite and attentive. A great big "thank you all" from me.

Very friendly staff, excellent food at reasonable prices. Lovely cup of tea, cakes looked amazing, unfortunately we were full from the main course. Next visit will be for tea & cake! Great farm shop as well, we bought a few things for home. Lovely surrounding views.

First time down at Valley View Cafe taking the parents out for Sunday brunch. The setting and atmosphere is lovely with the staff members being friendly and welcoming. The food was incredibly good, well portioned and perfectly seasoned; we had the big buther breakfast, eggs benedict and croque madame which were delicious. The desserts and coffee were also very tasty, cream tea scones were out of this world. In terms of pricing it was quite reasonable considering the current climate. Keep it up, we'll definitely be back!

Fantastic food, we were so impressed with the size and quality of the lunches we ordered. We sat in the covered area during a storm and it was a really nice touch to have blankets available as well as the heaters to keep warm. Very handy that it's dog friendly too. Highly recommended, I will definitely return if I come back to the area!

Beautiful little cafe with gorgeous views. I saw someone review the cafe on TikTok and put it on our to do list. After a trip to the coast we were looking for somewhere to eat and just happened to pass by accident. Very reasonably priced, we only opted for a ploughman’s sandwiches each which were lovely followed by cake. But every meal that came out to be served looked absolutely delicious. Stunning views with outside seating. The staff were very friendly. Well worth a visit.

Popped in for a spot of lunch, had lovely burger with all the trimmings. Plenty of food and hand cut chips. We would use again. Now has takeaway picnic area in field opposite cafe, with tables under cover.

Absolutely delicious Poached eggs & avocado on sourdough bread. Eggs cooked perfectly! Presentation perfect. Amazing view. And the perfect location to catch up with my lovely friend.

Delicious breakfast! My husband had the large cooked breakfast and it was not at all greasy, really fresh and the sausages, bacon and eggs were to die for! I did order one of their Freakshakes with all the toppings on but all that came was a normal chocolate milkshake and it was pretty watery and tasteless, I did mention it but the staff didnt correct it or come back to the table. They were very busy so we didn't want to make a fuss! Would still recommend, food was amazing!

Fantastic breakfast with amazing views. This is a great place we stopped at on the way onto South Devon. The service and food are both excellent. Couldn’t fault it.

Such an adorable little spot. A small, quiet cafe with beautiful views. The homemade cakes as you walk in are so tempting to buy.

How have i not eaten here before; knew of the butchers, knew of the cafe - but not until a friend recommended valley view this weekend that we visited.

For the money; the lunch we had was well above what the price led us to expect! Our lunch was something else; service was faultless, the whole set up has been very well thought out to comply with current covid regs without making it feel anything other than “normal” and relaxed.

We’ll be returning for sure as its only a short trip up the road. Shame i can’t give more than 5*’s.
