I'm new to the area, and I cannot sing the praises of this place enough! Thuy was exceedingly capable, communicative, professional, and kind to me when I brought in some fabric I needed altered. The resulting work I received was perfect for my needs! I had been searching all throughout Oxford for these kinds of services and I am so glad to have found OSS! I give my full recommendation. If you need quality sewing, this is the place!

Alterations on a pair of jeans were done beautifully and incredibly swiftly. I am so pleased to have found such a hidden gem. I highly recommend Oxford Sewing Studio for all your sewing needs.

Very impressed! I had three pairs of vintage, Levi 501s original ‘shrink to fit’ US imported jeans. I was very fond of them. The level of fading they had achieved was a work of art but each one had worn through in the seat, with pretty big holes. I didn’t think much could be done but I gave it a go. The lady at Oxford Sewing Studio did an amazing job. The repair was almost invisible. I really don’t know how she did it, but I thoroughly recommend her services.

We required a seat cover alteration with the addition of velcro openings for headrests. Thuy had excellent advice for how best to implement the changes and it was executed perfectly with a quick turnaround. Excellent service and end result.

We used Oxford Sewing Studio to alter the drop on two sets of curtains, trimming and adjusting a roller blind and also to alter some clothing.

Not only was the level of work extremely high but the turn around time was fantastic (next day).

John and Thuy were both super friendly and very accommodating. It was a pleasure to deal with them both and I will definitely be returning with more alterations in the future.
