A truly delightful cafe that has outstanding food and some very friendly service!

This cafe is a must go to. I think the best in Dorking. The food is all homemade by the owner and all of it is delicious. Genuinely amazing food. The meat pie was a big surprise as to how good it was.

The cafe is quite small inside but has some amazing seating outside that feels private and isolated.

Fantastic place! A gem in dorking. Service was so good, personal, inviting, and the food was sensational. Finally! A beautiful omelette (ham and cheese)- large, real ham, while our guest of honour (Cassandra) had toasted pesto panini, and her mum had cranberry, brie and bacon toasted panini. Coffees all good as well. Will go back. Reasonable priced, no rush, lovely to just chill and for once not be ripped off, supporting a local non-chain small business. Lovely.

We had to visit a local shop, and, had to wait for a repair to be carried out. Monica's was recommended and, what a find. The food was very good, the atmosphere was amazing and, what's better is that it's just around the corner from another of our favourite eateries "The Jampot. Thank you for a wonderful experience 😉

We enjoyed a really nice freshly prepared lunch. My arancini was very tasty as it was served warm with a small side salad.

We're looking forward to the warmer weather when we can take advantage of the outside seating in the pretty courtyard garden to the rear.

Had a tasty stir fry, friends also had baked potatoes and minestrone soup. All excellent. Lovely people and cafe atmosphere as well. Thank you.

I haven't eaten in yet but I ordered a Victoria sponge cake and got 3 layers instead of 2.
And...it was THE Victoria sponge of Victoria sponges.
Monica and her server have such genuine neighbourly service too and they did that with everyone that came in.
Looking forward to sampling the menu which I have no doubt will be delicious!

As soon as you step in to Monica's you are greeted with a warm friendly smile like you've gone to an old friends home. Had a the best oatmilk mocha & carrot cake my partner had a much needed cuddle of chicken soup. As a Londoner I miss old-fashioned manners. I'd travel here again just for that hug in a mug feeling!.

Lovely little cafe in a quaint old-world shop. Excellent service and delicious food at a fair price.
We had the brie, cranberry and bacon panini and the chicken noodles and both were delicious. Tea was served in good china and the home made cakes were fantastic.
We will definately make Monica's a regular stop.

Needed a bite to eat whilst working the area, came across this little gem! The owner was incredibly polite food was great and the place was clean and welcoming! Would definitely go again.

As a local to Dorking I can say with with confidence Monica's has become a community staple! Going in feels like being welcomed into someone's kitchen. Monica and her team are always friendly and helpful, and the food and coffee are always excellent - homemade and cooked with love! My favorites are always the chicken or prawn noodles and the arancini with salad. They make amazing cakes too. If you're in Dorking Monica's is well worth a visit and in the summertime the garden out back is a lovely sun trap!

Clare and I had a delicious lunch here today and particularly enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. We had the vegetarian platter followed by pistachio croissant. The home made falafels were wonderful. The tea was served in lovely teapots. Monica gave a very friendly service. We will go again.

My partner and I just had a wonderful lunch here. The service is fantastic, friendly and efficient and the staff are lovely. We had a panini each and these were without a doubt some of the best panini's we've ever had. If you're looking for a lovely lunch with great service with a smile then look no further than here.

Went for a wander around Dorking and popped in. Had coffee (good) and noodles (amazing!). Would really recommend.

A very delightful, reasonably priced cafe with a delicious variety of lunches and refreshments. The cooking is carried out by Monica, who has created a lovely eatery which includes a pretty garden seating area, lovely in fine weather.

Great coffee, had the homemade flapjack and mother in law had lemon drizzle, both excellent. Very friendly place, a warm welcome.

Lovely atmosphere. Pretty garden for good weather. Delicious food & helpful staff. Would recommend the deli for lunch or tea/coffee/homemade cakes.

Lovely to meet Monica and taste her excellent food and reacquaint with the lovely Sandra after over three years. We will be back.

Lovely cosy spot with great food. Feels like a very local place. Jacket potatoes were delicious!
