My first time going since they pumped some money into it
I have to say it's a great transformation even though there are still some bits that require attention.
The playground is now a great safe place to take children of various ages and abilities.
It's a nice open plan space for children to run around safely.
There is a designated trace for bikes which is great if you're teaching your little one how to ride.
The walk around the lake is very nice a peaceful.
The cafe is still under construction which meant there were no toilets available which is why we left in the end.
Hopefully this will be addressd soon.
Over all a great morning out and well worth a visit.

The old golf course at the back of Brooklands had been turned into a great dog walking area with loads of space for dogs to run freely and safely.
The workers are in laying paths through this area more than doubling the size of the park. I was unsure at first, but it is looking really good. I just hope dog walkers are not forgotten. Looking forward to the new cafe.

We love coming here to walk our dog, although we have to drive as we live several miles away. There are 3 car parks and parking charges are due all week, but it is free for blue badge holders. The car park and café at the north east corner of the park are open and there are toilets located outside the cafe. We often stop for coffee and cake at the cafe and dogs are welcomed inside or out. To get around there are plenty of tarmac paths, which is great for anyone with mobility issues, There are steps at the south end of the lake but these can be avoided by taking a short diversion. Cormorants, swans, coots, moorhens and more can be seen on the lake and there is a boardwalk on the west side of the lake so you can get a closer view. For children there is a really good play area and this always appears to be very popular. Brooklands is also dog-friendly and is enjoyed by plenty of dog walkers. Recommended.

Fantastic new park. Lots of smooth paths around the pond, great for learning to cycle or scooting. Lots of nature to see. A vast improvement on what was previously on offer. The best park in the area by a long way

Met friends in the cafe. What a lovely setting. The menu is comprehensive and open to changes ie poached eggs not scrambled. The design and space to get around is good. We were lucky it was pleasant to sit on the decking area was perfect with our large dog. We didn't get around the park mainly due to cost of car park. Locals are very lucky.

Fab place for a dog walk. Lots of pathways and different areas for dogs to explore. The coffee from the current little coffee truck is the best I have tasted. It will be even better when the newly built toilets and café open up.

Lots of play activities for all ages. Sandpit, musical toys, climbing frames, swings, slides, etc. Fenced all round so fairly safe although people do leave the gates open. Two swings that are designed for wheelchairs which is a positive thing. Dogs not allowed inside the play area. No toilet facilities or proper catering - although there is a mobile van. Car parks are a long way from the play area at the moment.
