Good location 2mins walk from station and in front of a super market. Really nice and good service by 2 ladies on counter. Coffee was good and strong and I love scone with jam and cream. Atmosphere was calm and friendly. Seating inside and few at front.

Only a 5 minute stroll to the TfW railway station - a perfect place to wait for your train. Impeccably clean throughout, there is the option to have coffee made with plant based alternatives rather than regular milk at no extra cost.

Every time we visit this cafe we have thoroughly enjoyed whatever we have, either just cake and coffee, breakfast or lunch. This time it was lunch which was so brilliant in presentation and tasted just as good, the vegetable mezze the hummus was so refreshing with lemon the avocado was spiced with cumin the salsa had a little heat the chickpeas where tasty accompanied by halloumi and fresh salad and flatbread each individual element was so different and a good serving I was full at the end. My husband had the rarebit which he thoroughly enjoyed too.

Nice coffee shop, coffee was good quality and cake (custard slice) delicious. Good value for money and friendly service. Shuts at 5pm but only cakes and drinks available from 4pmwhich was a shame as we'd dropped by for more substantial food. Still well worth a visit

We visited this café at around 2:30 on Tuesday 11th July. Everything was perfect. It was like being in a high end restaurant, the staff provided excellent welcome and service, the food tasted absolutely amazing and was presented beautifully.

The restaurant is very clean, spacious and air-conditioned. The prices were extremely fair, and indeed lower than you would’ve thought for such a lovely café. Exceptional value for money to say the least.

I had the Welsh rarebit (with added bacon by choice) and loved it! My partner had the vegetarian meze and every element of the food looked and tasted gorgeous. The salad which came with both meals, was colourful and all of the ingredients of the food high quality.

The food here is really reasonably priced, and really, really good!! Fillings are generous and good quality (eg nice thick ham, fresh roasted chicken etc), all served on really nice bread. Every time we've been in, it's been the same lady working, she is friendly, welcoming and gives the cafe a really lovely feel. All of the food is good, but the roast baps are another level - if you get in early enough to get one! Easily the nicest little cafe we've discovered in portmadog - I can see why it's so popular with both locals and retirees on day trips.

The space itself is really lovely. Bought some gorgeous bowls. Had a fab lunch at the upstairs cafe - beautiful open and inviting space that I could have comfortably sat in for hours while people watching the street below. And the food was fresh and delicious.

Visited coffee shop on 1st floor. Lift available. Spacious, modern furniture and soft seat benches too. Friendly staff.
Had lovely coffee and very large, warm fruit scone. Before 12 noon there is a breakfast menu and what I saw delivered to other customers, looked and smelt delicious. Menu for larger 'dishes' and wine choice after 12 noon.

A Sunday roast is available for £10.95 and is something I would like to try.

The prices are medium with breakfast about £6.50 and main meal about £9. This is the kind of place to go to meet friends, to have a leisurely coffee and cake, breakfast or main meal of unique variety; to enjoy the ambience of a building with a lot of history.

A lovely place for lunch. Contemporary decor and efficient service. My smoked haddock chowder was delicious and my husband declared his chicken wrap amazing! We will be back.

Real quality food at a reasonable price and with excellent service. Beautifully relaxed surroundings. Fantastic staff who were all very helpful and who had smiles on their faces. Particularly grateful to the gent who provided me with a pot of vinegar to treat my wasp sting - thanks for being so kind. 🙂🙂🙂

Lovely lunch here, a tasty salad and paté with yummy broiche bread. They were also very accommodating in heating up my little girls' baby food. We would definitely recommend and the cakes looked delicious too

What a lovely surprise. No idea this cafe was there. No signage at all. A really lovely airy space serving really good food to a very high standard. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone. Very reasonably priced for high quality food.

No problems with social distancing, although food at current time limited menu, it was of good quality on both of our visits. Good 'One way' system in operation with ample staff to help.

We always used to visit this cafe when it was Kerfoots and this was our first visit to Portmerion Cafe. The food was tasty and service pretty good too. The chips were delicious! A little pricey but with the Portmerion name attached we were not surprised.

Absolutely fantastic. I really can’t understand how people have found anything to complain about. Lovely food, great coffee and very reasonably priced. We now have a reason to come to Porthmadog more regularly.

Amazing food and a lovely shop. Very reasonable food prices and the quality is spot on. Can’t understand people who say it was better before when it was Kerfoots!!!! And can’t believe people say the food is expensive! Oh well, they must live on egg and chips and nothing else and not not eat out at all!
