First time visit yesterday. Great little pub would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

The tall lanky one provided excellent customer service and wax very knowledgeable about Chilli.
I was amazed to find the other two sisters as their laughs were nothing like each other.
Nice to see a pub with a juke box but you could do with removing UB40 from it, it's like groundhog day.

Great pub, great staff and the outside tv is a great idea just a shame it wasn't working.

Where's Dreams are made. Said one of the locals. I started to speak like one of them after a few hours.its not English, Irish, or even piky, but after ever sentence it ended with "boy"

Really good breakfast, doubling up is well worth it, there isn't a big choice but what they do offer is done so well.
I had the veggie version and wasn't left wondering what the weird aftertaste was, my meat eating friends didn't talk for at least 15mins!.
They also do a really good cuppa

Their Sunday dinners are superb and plentiful. Collection was well organised and distanced. Every credit for their massive Yorkshire puddings. Served hot in a good quality take away carton. A choice of 3 meats and a selection of veg and potatoes. The size would easily fill the bigger eaters out there. The only way it could be improved any would be the option of a sponge and custard pudding. I'd have to save that until later in the day though as I was stuffed! I'll be back for another next week and every week after.

I can't recommend this pub enough the staff are so friendly and make you feel really welcome.

A much improved pub that offers very good home cooked food at a reasonable price with generous portions.
The Sunday roast is highly recommended but booking is advised.

Having enjoyed the fantastic Sunday lunch several times before lockdown, my wife and I decided to try out the takeway option. We both had roast beef with all the trimmings and it was fabulous. Really lovely meat, perfectly cooked vegetables, a large yorkshire pudding and lashing of gravy. The presentation was also great, served in large tin foil containers the same size as a dinner plate. I'll definitely be having more takeways during lockdown and look forward to returning to the Black Bull when lockdown ends.

No food just drink and crisps. Very, very friendly staff. Nice clean bathroom

Friendly and efficient staff. Great jukebox and plenty of screens to watch almost any game you ask for. My favourite pub in Kidlington!
