Lovely place to visit. All the pets are well looked after, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Dogs are welcome in the store, which is very sweet to see. The staff are great when it comes to buying a pet. They help you with everything you need. Not only the animal but purchasing everything that you need to help care for your pet.

Very helpful staff, with a sense of humour! Managed to stay focused long enough to buy what I went in for!! This summer, fleas and ticks seem to be a big problem.

Everything pets. Food/treats and leads/harness for dogs and the essential toys. Huge selection of cat food/treats plus beds and scratch posts etc. They cater for most small to medium pets even the exotic lizards etc. They even sell some live pets so a stroll round is well worth your time. Parking is right outside and free.

This is our regular vet now as our old once independent vets were taken over by venture capitalists, and actually, I'd go for Pets at Home every time.

Our vet (George) has gone above and beyond to make sure we can travel with a foreign dog, help us with another elderly dog going through his final years and much, much more.

All saff is lovely - selction of goods is lovely.

Oh, and my Rusty firmly recommends the sprats - they're worth every penny.

Located in a small shopping area with plenty of parking. Unfortunately they didn’t have the item I was looking for but they did have plenty of alternatives. Staff were friendly and the store is well laid out with plenty of overhead signs to direct you to the items you require.

Had to pop in today for a replacement harness after a failed one.
Swapped no issue.

A memeber of staff was very profesional while being abused by the customer in front because she could not and would sell a cage that was too small for a pet (unknown) that would grow too large for the cage they wanted. She was challanged on its a baby I'll get a larger cage.

Care for caged / tanked pets surely has to start at the point of sale! Well done Pets at home.

Great staff very helpful

So much choice! Food and toys, medication, accessories etc. There is something for your pets individual needs. The groom room is particularly brilliant and always do an excellent job. They open until 8pm aswell which is very handy. If your not sure what you need the staff are always happy to help.

Today I was helped by Chelsea .. she was a knowledgeable young lady who was totally honest about the shops’products and well-being for my year old bulldog. Chelsea offered advice and choice of products rather than letting me buy what I had picked out.. quite a refreshing change to be helped and being treated as respectfully as she did rather than the “ yeah buy it “ attitude. Chelsea is a true credit and wealth of knowledge to your branch, thank you 😊

Very friendly and helpful staff. We are on holiday here in Bideford and our Cavalier King Charles spaniel was suffering with an upset Tum. The staff went above and beyond to find the right product to take away with us immediately. Extremely thankful to all concerned.
