Julia's Tea Rooms

Had a gluten free version of the Satay vegetables Baguette (which is vegan) which cost £6.90. It was generously filled with roasted vegetables like peppers and courgettes. Though there was not much of a 'satay' taste, it was yummy and I liked the fact that the gluten free bread had seeds in it rather than being white bread. I asked for it to be toasted and I can recommend. It was warm and filling and wholesome. Gluten free bread is smaller than the gluten full bread, but this is to be expected everywhere and it was made up for by the generous amount of filling.
Lovely service and a great location.
They had lots of unique food options on the menu which I haven't see in any other cafe, and I loved the creativity and choice.
They have jacket potatoes and salad options too. Baguettes, toasties and sandwiches. Cake options also.
No matcha or tumeric latte available that I could see, but a good tea selection.
Ordered a take away but they let me use their bathroom.

What a great little tea room. We stopped in for afternoon tea and couldn't finish it There was plenty for 2 could of fed 3. Food was gorgeous and fresh with a great view of the cathedral.

I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Julia's via Facebook to ask about a takeaway afternoon tea, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I ordered it a couple of day's in advance of collecting it. It was packaged really well and was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend Julia's and will definitely return!

Loved Julia's - service prompt and friendly - Bacon Sandwich superb as was Americano, Cappuccino and filter coffee - I want to return to be a bit nosier about its history - earwigging caught - sub floor medieval kitchen ? Great place great views

A lovely coffee and scone sat outside enjoying the view of Ely Cathedral. A nice selection of cakes on the menu and a variety of drinks.

Good food, good prices. Staff always seem busy so hard to get hold of them when you're after something, but service was quick.

I had a bowl of delicious soup, served with a cheese scone and generous amount of butter. Hubby enjoyed his cheese and ham toastie, which came with a side salad and a few crisps. A lovely lunch. We'll be back. Thanks.

Wow excellent value for money for a cream tea and the quality of bread and cakes was top notch. Beautiful setting next to the cathedral with outside tables in addition to the indoors.

I go here more than any other place in Ely for lunch. Full of character, it has a great lunch menu and the staff are always friendly and polite. My first choice when needing lunch while shopping!
