GT Performance Remapping

James came round and stage 1 mapped my Mercedes R171 SLK 2.8 V6 (normally aspirated). I was looking for a quality remap rather than trying to gain a few more hp and I wasn’t disappointed, the engine is much smoother and the torque is constant throughout the rev range. An excellent job.

Lawrence remapped my BMW 330d two weeks ago. I wanted to wait a while before doing a review in case of any issues. I’m happy to say that everything is great with the car, predicted range on the fuel is approx 10% higher when driving normally, and there’s loads of extra power when you want to have some fun! Car feels much more responsive and also smooth now, there are zero negatives to getting it remapped! Lawrence was also very punctual, friendly and responsive to emails/texts. Usually I am not leaving any reviews, but after my expirience with Lawrence I have to. He has amazing comunication skills, very flexible to adjust to your time schedule, and will listen what exactly do you want.
He has all required equipment to load the bespoke map to your vehicle. I have remaped my van with lawrence to gain some economy, and I am very happy with the results. The engine feels much better now, more torque on lower revs, and a bit more power on higher. Obviously do not expect that fuel consumptions will go magically low, but they will go lower with sensible driving. The van doesn't struggle anymore when you are going uphill on motorway with 6th speed, wich was very annoying before the remap.
Overall if you need a vehicle remap - contact Lawrence, and you will not regret your choice.

I invited Lawrence to pop round and remap my 2012 Z4 20. I was a little bit sceptical but chanced my arm as the price was very reasonable. The results are night and day!! I’m less busy round the gear box as the power comes in at much lower RPM. My car has gone from feeling quick to very quick, I absolutely love it. The acceleration is fantastic compared to pre mapping. 0-60 has dropped to 5 seconds from 6.3 and the midrange is unbelievable. Just do it people, it’s a game changer !!

Lawrence mapped my 2014 transit custom, had the bhp of a Renault twizzy. 2.2 litre engine with no power.
Absolutely smashed it the fella knows what hes doing, due to the trade im in the van carries a hell of a lot of weight and used to struggle up hill. Hes put a stage one on the van and it drives like a new van, getting him back to map my car next. Definitely wouldnt go elsewhere now.

Had my BMW remapped on Friday, Lawrence came out and did the work, was really knowledgeable, great communication/service throughout, answered all my questions. Covid precautions observed. Lawrence was excellent from start to finish…from my initial enquired to my home visits to have my car stage 1 remapped, he was punctual, polite and professional!
He talked me through the gains I could expect and the process involved and made me feel very relaxed and confident in his ability.

Once completed we went for a test drive and WOW! What a difference, my car is more responsive , smoother and there’s no end to the power as it pulls through the gears and sprints up the road!
I would recommend the guys at GTP remapping and the service they offer anytime , you definitely won’t regret it and will love the difference it will make to your car!
